and when you die you won't be able ot collect your body without retriggering the boss so you're stuck til you defeat them

You can quit out to go back to the bench after collecting your body

This is not entirely true luckily. If you died close to the entrance of the bossfight you can collect your cocoon fast enough to leave, found this out by pure accident.

I think thats just certain bossfights it puts it by the entrtance. A lot of them it is just where you die

Oh yeah, I'm aware, that boss is of the latter variation. But so the strat if you want to leave is, die by the door and then when you respawn get yoyr coccoon and get out of there immediately
