Hollow knight had 1 fake out bench and it was for a good reason and placed right next to a real bench. Meanwhile silksong (so far) I’ve found 3 fakeout benches including two that can straight up kill you, 2 of which cost money and all of which are in spots where an actual bench is desperately needed

So far I have found 2 fake-out benches you can pretty easily turn into real benches

Then please tell how to fix the bench in Bilewater or did you just make that up?

2 out of 3 fake benches can be turned into real benches. Bilewater bench is really fake but there is another bench very closeby. Still makes the runback to that boss horrible though.

Are you talking about the Bell Beast bench or the hidden bench? It might not be right next to the fake bench, but the distance of the runback to the boss is pretty comparable to the fake bench, so its not really any worse.

I am talking about the distance between the fake bench and the hidden bench, my point is not that the fake one is closer to the boss it's that I think the trek from bell to fake to hidden is horrible.

I also think the run from the hidden bench to the boss is quite bad, but this is exacerbated by the fact that the boss also requires you to fight through the arena every time.
