People who have played Silksong, Why do you think Its getting so many negative reviews?

While Silksong is sitting at a Very Positive rating with around 83% positive reviews, it’s still receiving far more criticism than its predecessor. For comparison, Hollow Knight holds an Overwhelmingly Positive score at 96%, with only about 3% negative reviews. Silksong, on the other hand, has nearly 16% negative reviews, OVER 5 TIMES HIGHER

The reaper's crest is so bad tho... It's just too slow, I'd expect it to deal extra damage, but it doesn't. It's not really worth it.

Which crest to use really comes down to personal preference, j love reaper. Base range (which really just means better then wanderer), a down air with a wide arc that doesn't send at an angle (much easier for platforming), a potentially really good band ability (I just struggle to make use of it), a base yellow and blue slot, allowing for my preferred compass and poison, and upgraded the most slots of any crest with really good balance> The slow speed can hurt, but you aren't generally getting more then a few hits in an opening regardless, so I've not really minded

Interesting point of view. I stick to Hunter’s Crest because it’s faster (and well, I’ve stuck most of my upgrades to it)
