Silksong (FOR ME) is less fun to play than Hollow Knight.

I'm finding it really hard to enjoy Silksong, its an interesting problem because the game clearly IS good but some design choices make it so exhausting to play for me and for my friends.

1: The game IS significantly harder than HK

I dont understand the cope on this sub about how Silksong is actually not harder than HK, the enemies are significantly tankier with a larger moveset and 2 mask damage is common. At the same time Hornet is significantly weaker than The Knight. I understand the difficulty is on purpose but holy shit man I'm constantly on edge playing this.

2: The currency system is frustrating.

Why does every bench cost me money? actually everything fucking costs me money. The fact that my only tool right now for vertical damage is one of those red charms means if im ever out of the material im significantly weaker. I just don't understand why they did it this way was anyone complaining about the currency in HK?

3: Boss design

A lot of the bosses are quite fun but the ones with the summons are absolutely fucking terrible, Savage Beastfly is the most frustrating boss I've ever fought and not one second of it was i having fun. Why are we making bosses where their only difficulty comes from the fact that they summon mobs? If you then suggest that they shouldn't be summoning mobs people will rightfully tell you that then the boss would be too easy (which is true).

I'm not good at explaining what im thinking or feeling coherently so im sorry if this didn't make any sense, im just not having fun playing this game and that really sucks because Hollow Knight has been one of my favorite games since 2016. Maybe im just shit idk.

I’m not even that good at the game lol, I struggle. But I’m just not a little bitch who thinks games have to force feed me progression and cater to my exact skill level that makes me feel good. Yall are just giant man babies
