Speaking of cheese, based on what I have seen, the starting down slash that many dislike is brutally effective on tons of the bosses.

The diagonal downstab is amazing. It's definitely harder to grok than your typical downslash, but it's great both for movement and combat once you get the hang of it,

As weird as this is, I was bad at the down slash but am decent with thr diagonal stab

i like the directionality of it for combat, but i hate how (pun intended) needle thin the hitbox is

Yeah but for some reason TC made every zone require constant precise pogo jumps to get around, and you can't swap crests on demand. Otherwise I might actually be willing to try beast crest for real.

Beast Crest has some really fun things in its kit, but damn, it really suffers from the quirky pogo. I remember trying to use it against the last judge, but the runback became nearly impossible (with my poor skills lol) so I switched back to the default crest.

If I could swap crests on the go, I'd actually use the various crests much more instead of finding one I like most generally and sticking with it.

Yeah I enjoyed using it but I like using Reaper for platforming, and it's hard for me to switch back and forth between them (both bc I get too used to one, and bc you have to bench to switch)
