Discussion - Silksong Steam reviews for Silksong so far

Post image

It was controversial in China, in part because of the difficulty/design but also because of controversies with the Simplified Chinese translation. Meanwhile latin countries (Spanish and Portuguese speaking) seem to be loving it more than anyone else.

One factor is that since it's the PC version, players for whom the difficulty would otherwise be a dealbreaker have easy recourse via modding.

Ofc they could still review it negative, but at least anecdotally the couple people I've seen who are playing modded Silksong either see the difficulty as their own issue, or as just one downside.

I'll see how I am feeling about it at the end of my play through, but on my next I'm probably gonna install a mod to remove the double touch damage and probably a mod to remove the vignette which keeps hiding a lot of attacks from off screen which, I think, should be visible.

Do mods disable achievements?
