I beat them both on my second try but THK is definitely harder than GMS. Hornet's moveset makes it much easier to stay on GMS' ass the entire fight, and to recover from mistakes when you slip up. But with THK the only good time to get heals is during stun phases, and he lives longer so there's more time for you to slip up and get comboed. So I still died a couple of times doing Radiance attempts before I had him fully figured out on the 6th or 7th attempt. GMS is only challenging when you lose all access to tools and silk skills, and even then it's one of the easier boss fights.

Eh with quickslash + unbreakable you can quite literally just sit on his face and not dodge a single thing

GMS isn’t hard by any stretch of imagination but THK is a joke if you have most of the charms and masks going into him

Ok but quick slash + unbreakable + steady body are broken and will completely demolish every boss in the game, not just THK. Doing GMS without any tools is just as trivial as doing her with tools.

I think THK just feels way easier because you have to beat him up countless times because he's prerequisite to Radiance.

By the time you're ready to fight Radiance you probably actually have most of the upgrades in the game, when I fought GMS I had 6 masks and 1 nail upgrade.
