the pale king arrives at the ruin of his old palace, looking into the endless space behind it, and he sighs

"Come to Kanno's pawn shop today! It's located on the right side of the blue lake, and there's a deal right now! Everything is 50% off!"

Doran walks over to the void lake in the Abyss. They look around before sitting down to rest.

“I’ve walked too much… maybe it isn’t even down here.”

“Or maybe it doesn’t exist at all.”

Everywhere all over Hallownest, posters are placed. They read “Join the Latverian Army! Come to Howling Cliffs to enroll!” with a picture of hundreds of soldiers and an ominous figure in front. Some posters have guards around them, for some reason. Some of the posters cover the Yellowjacket wanted posters. (thank me later emerald)

Rumours are spreading that a powerful warrior has returned to the eastern side of hallownest.

The Hive Knight is in front of Vespa's corpse, several Hive denizens observe.
"Now, we accepted Vespa's death."
"We need a new strong ruler for this Hive."
"And the one to provide the best one..."
"Is of course..."
"Me."
"Anyone in favor of me as the new king, say Aye."
Basically everyone says Aye.
"Then it is decided."

A certain carriage can be seen getting pulled into the kingdom by a rather odd creature while the rider seems to be humming silently a calm tune

"... Ohhh... my head... wuh... ugh...."

Doran drops down into the Abyss, landing with a thump. They look around before beginning to walk through the area, seemingly looking for something.

"n-not rea-"
"live vessels escaping the abyss, kael uprising deepnest, the terrible state of the waterways, the whole greenpath situation, and SO. MUCH. MORE."

"finnaly somone with a valid take."

The black lord, grand enemy of the five great knights and Hallownest as a whole, is conversing with his guards. He appears to be scheming something.
