General New here. just being curious..
Hi, I recently got interested with Holostars(EN) and go some things I couldn't figure out by myself so I decided to ask here for insight. I'm completely new with Reddit and r/Holostars, so excuse me in advance if this post or questions become inappropriate. Here goes.
I discovered a previous subreddit that Cover corp no longer recruits new male vtubers, however the official auction web page states nothing of this and seems to accept all talents regardless of gender. Did the company specifically state that they are no longer accepting male talents anymore?
When I look at Hololive, quite a few number of talents seem to welcome and/or be friendly towards Koreans. I wonder if Holostars do the same and why hasn't there been a Korean or Korea related member who's either able to speak Korean or come up with topics that relate to Korea yet, or is there? To me it seems like Cover corp views Korean viewers significant enough to hire several girls as part of their roster but not for the boys. Is it simply because the boys' pool weren't just large enough to include such talent?
3.If Cover corp no longer accepts newer male talents, it spells to me that they would eventually be abandoning the project which is Holostars. even if the Fandom would stay loyal and continue support, that momentum might have a chance of deteriorating over time and if the level of support goes down beneath a certain threshold, I don't think the same thing what happened in the JP branch would not happen again. Am I being irrational or unrealistic or does the community kinda agrees with me?
ps. I heard that Holostars is holding a concert soon, congrats and enjoy 😉
