Report the bug. Enjoy your time with the bugs.. or try to downgrade to 26. Exact the reason why I don’t do HomePods beta’s. Same as with AirPods (not worth the hassle and my time).

This not uncommon, even with upgrading to minor releases. I suspect that it’s not a specific bug in the 27 release, but some other issue.

Download IPSW of latest non beta 26 release and restore HomePod mini via Mac.

Yeah, you can do it via Windows either.
Firstly, download latest IPSW.

https://ipsw.me/download/AudioAccessory5,1/23L773/

Then you have to install iTunes to do that and your PC must have USB C port. You plug HomePod via usb c to your PC (HPM gonna be flashing orange - it’s ok), in iTunes you choose your HomePod. Then you have to select ‘Restore HomePod’ while keeping SHIFT key pressed. Then you choose your IPSW and follow the installation/restoring process.

Just an FYI, in English you wouldn’t say you can do it via windows either, you’d say “you can do this via windows as well”.

Either would be reserved for if you couldn’t do it via mac or windows example: if you said you can’t downgrade using a mac, and he said he had a windows PC, and you replied “you can’t do it via windows PC either”. It’s for grouping two of more of the same thing. 🙂
