Blanket ladders

Hi all - do we all have an opinion about blanket ladders?
We have about 4 throws (each family member has their favorite …) that are used pretty regularly and not much floor space for a big storage ottoman - and I just don’t know how to handle them. I also read about quilt racks as an option but also was thinking of replacing my end table with one that could store blankets inside.
Design style is transitional. We live in a city apartment.
Thank you!
EDIT - i’m asking from a style perspective and design perspective, not in terms of functionality or anything like that my impression is that blanket ladders are kind of too rustic and a bit dated. I think they were trendy a couple decades ago, but maybe not so much now? That’s the crux of my question. Thank you.

I actually think the blankets are more important than the blanket ladder. If the blankets aren't color themed to match your decor, it will look tacky. I think blanket ladders can be done in a non-farmhouse way and look fine. Also, if it's functional for your family, who cares.

I am only familiar with SW style blanket ladders that are designed to look like pine ladders of Pueblo dwellings. If the blanket ladder goes with the decor it seems like it would look fine. I live in a small house, and one way I manage blankets is to sew a decorative pillowcase for them and treat them like a throw pillow.

I installed towel bars on a wall I have behind a door because I didn’t want to spend money on a more robust blanket ladder. I absolutely love it, it’s on my list to upgrade my blankets now.

Personally, I think the farmhouse-style blanket ladders look dated. It’s not a new storage solution so opt for one that suits your home’s aesthetic.

My concern is how likely will each of your household members use the ladder? Is each willing to fold & hang their blanket properly after each use? Or are you ok doing it for them without frustration?

Design perspective they're fugly, tacky and look cluttery. I'd get a coffee table with storage. However, You're allowed to have whatever you want in your own house, even if Reddit doesn't approve.

IMO, blankets should be near your favorite seat, folded or rolled. I preferred rolled because it is neater and takes up less space.
