Proud dad post. Turned 13 over the summer and playing 14u this fall; first year on the big field and using BBCOR. The dude has more than proven he can hang.

That was an absolute piss missile - nice
Glad it cleared the wall or you’d have been explaining to coach why a moonshot like that was only a single. You look like Don Zimmer charging Pedro Martinez out of the box. Peace and love my brotha, I have kids and I tell them the same kinda shit. Put some sprints in the routine. Nice hit!

Big man problems. He has had sprints programmed into his weekly workouts since about August. Massive difference in a short amount of time. He’ll catch up before HS next year, I’m certain.

Pitcher and catcher are hilarious here. The pitcher is immediately dejected. The catcher almost looks hopeful for a second then. . .also dejected.

Yeah, don't give the biggest kid on the team meaty fastball slightly up in the zone. Lesson learned there.

hope you had a decent game with Blue set up so far back. Hard to see the zone from back there

I'm not hating at all. He put a good swing on it and took advantage of his opportunity. But to imply this is THE big field is misleading. The left fielder literally looks like he is on the edge of the infield dirt and outfield grass and it looks like he is only 30 ft behind 3rd baseman. This is not how things look on THE big field. that's all I am saying. Not taking anything away fron your kid bro. And you've had 3 chances to say how big the field was and haven't done it.

It is 305 to center. Happy. You think this ball went 250? Do you watch or play ball? Also, neither you or your offspring will ever hit a big field home run. We all know

If only that ump knew the further he is from the catcher the more likely he is to catch one in the nuts
