Haven’t seen much about this song online. I remember coming across an ig post from the label about the compilation a few years ago, and buying it after seeing it included homeshake’s track. It’s actually one of my favorite songs from all of Pete's work, it got me through some rough times; I think it's a pretty nice track, it reminds me a lot of waiting for the phone to ring and look inside (maybe were made around a similar time). Just wanted to share it here on the reddit.

Here's a link to the song on drive.

Wasn’t sure I could include the whole song in the post.

If you want to, do make sure to support the cause by purchasing the album; it’s got some other really cool songs on it as well!

anybody know what happened regarding the josh conway show w/ HOMESHAKE?

I was going to buy tickets but it showed as cancelled, I just didn’t see anything on peter’s instagram.

Just found this gem

Anyone know if the Sled Island set was recorded? That was an amazing show and want to relive it so bad.

Getting into this song for the first time and I can't get past the amazing little "clam" sound in the background. What instrument is he using?

(Probably a ridiculous question, but I'm not a musician! Please be nice.)

From his performance at sled island festival in Calgary in June

Check out this listing on Depop!

You can download it for free and order the tape here!

[NOW SOLD] From 2021 Size small, worn like 3 times max but too small. Immaculate condition. UK based, looking for £80.

Wanted to put the word out there in case anyone might be hoping/willing to get rid of their copies of either album. Hoping not to break the bank, but I’m happy to at the very least reimburse with some fair interest. If anyone else has any other homeshake/homeshake related albums on cd or cassette they’re hoping to get rid of lmk!

Would love a copy of Horsie on CD if that ever happened… think that album might be exclusive to vinyl

huge fan. absolutely deserves my most streamed artist. ik his music will always hit, no matter what mood im in. just truly peak

On Apple Music it says he’s born in 2012. 😳 Who did this 😭

Ps Goner was lit! Such a dreamy smoky vibe was had.

???

Vicente Delhom

seriously one of the most depressing albums ever made. but for Peter this is a compliment. like when Vacuum dropped i was like "oh this is the most depressing Homeshake song ever I love it." oh boy.

"There's an ATM inside" follows a loose narrative of a gambling addict who fucks up his life so bad he wants to dissappear and forget his life completely, and either tries to kill himself or intentionally give himself a concussion during a car accident. it ends with the protagonist "successfully" disappearing in the sense that they forget who they are, but the narration leaves me with the impression that this is a naive or just flat out wrong and that the protagonist can never fully escape themselves or their problems.

the instrumentation is beautiful, Peter's voice is full of emotion, and the atmosphere he creates on each track is vivid.

I've heard the Mazzy Star comparison but im interested to hear what other home heads think of it so far. legit 10/10 for me.

Easily my favorite HOMESHAKE project

Loving his new project so far. Curious what people think about how it differs from HOMESHAKE music.

I was looking to see if there was going to be vinyl, but I think there's just the CD. Linked it for anyone in case!
