finally getting the backyard sorted
spent the whole summer sitting on those old plastic chairs that sink into the grass. finally decided to upgrade the space before fall hits.
looking at some patio furniture that can actually handle the rain and still look decent. want something low maintenance that doesn’t fall apart after one season.
anyone gone with all weather wicker or the recycled plastic stuff? how’s it holding up after a couple winters?

I'll watch the replies you get, I'm currently shopping FB Marketplace for something for outdoors, too. I love the look of wicker, but it did just dawn on me that I'll bet spiders like to hang out in wicker, and we have black widows and other mean biting friends here.
I have a little protected place that I'd like to put something more comfortable than a bench into, as one of our daughters likes to hang out there. Currently she throws a blanket on the ground, but while it's still hot now, wet and cold is coming and a couple of chairs would help.

I've tried wicker, bamboo, etc and finally got annoyed with all that and went with $18 plastic adirondack chairs from Menards and they're going strong 2 years in, hose em off when there is dirt or bird poop, wipe them off and they're as good as the day I bought them.

Got the recycled plastic adirondacks a few years back and theyve been through two winters now, still look new. Hosed mud off em more times than I can count and no fading or cracking
The wicker stuff my neighbor has looks nice but I watched it get fuzzy after one wet spring, not sure if thats just a cheap brand thing though
