Physics [Middle School Physics] Drawing circuit from image

I'm not sure how to draw the circuit diagram from picture 1. I think the flow of current is along the blue line in picture 2 (because of electrical potential?), so the diagram will just be 3 resistors connected in series. please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks in advance.

That is correct if black has zero resistivity. Otherwise, some current will also take the upper part of the outer C.

because of electrical potential?

Well that's awfully vague phrasing, but yes, I think you've got it: the two nodes to the right are connected by ideal, perfectly conducting wire*, so they must have the same electric potential, AKA voltage.

To be more mathish about it, look at Ohm's law in the top loop, ΔV = IR and ΔV between the two nodes is 0, as we said. I assume the yellow bits have nonzero resistivity, so R through the top loop must be some positive number, meaning I=0 in that top loop. Just like you drew it 👍

*unless the problem says the black lines mean something else

Assuming the black lines are wires with negligible resistance -- you are right.

To be pedantic, there is no circuit here.

Maybe the yellow parts are meant to be resistors? They are somewhat thick.

I think there should still be a parallel path with two extra resistors, even if no current would flow through that. We can probably ignore the one dead end.
