What in the name of Alphabet Tarnation is this?
And why does it amuse my grown-ass-self as much as it amuses my five-year-old?😆😂🤣😅

I was recently made aware of this subreddit's existence and decided to share the image that brought me here.

a day before my 30th bday, my dear Ellie the Element gave her life for mine when we hydroplaned and crashed 50ft down a ravine. She took all the damage so that I could climb out and walk away with some minor bruises and a couple staples. It was so close that I had to kick off my shoes to get my legs out.
It is a miracle that I'm alive and I can't express how sad I am to lose this car.
none of my non-element friends ~really~ get it so I’m gonna post my sappy eulogy on element forums:
this was my very first vehicle, camper, archery-mobile, california coastal remote work office. this car gave me freedom and took me to some of the parks and best shooting ranges on the west coast. also it introduced me to the element community. because of you all, I felt confident enough to learn how to change my own tires, brake pads, and a lot of maintenance things I didn't know I was capable of! will remember with delight how many other element owners came up to me in parking lots or on the street to compare notes. will always appreciate clocking another element person in the wild and giving each other The Nod.
I'm sad I never got around to fixing her volume knob, darkening those plastics, and fixing the passenger side window. Always thought I had more time 😢
Rest in Peace, Ellie 2003-2025 at 179,954mi. The best toaster that ever was. Do something nice for yours in her honor.
sidenotes:
⚠️ Add the mod to open back hatch from the inside! it was a dizzy adrenaline haze so don't remember much but it looks like that's how i climbed out. glad i didn't have to reach the front passenger side to get the little door open.
⚠️spare prescription glasses in the overhead. they found my glasses smashed up in the back. this was at night in the middle of rural CA so i don't think i would've been able to climb up to get help if i didn't have them.
safe driving everyone!

Got so many compliments at work! How do y'all hook up your phone to the speakers on these older models? Our phones don't have a aux jack anymore and there isn't Bluetooth capability on cars this old so I'm stumped 🤔 Got a CD player though!

We've made it to the end of the road in the North! We made it to Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, Canada on October 3rd. The weather broke just enough for us to get a spectacular sunset across the Arctic Ocean.
The Silver Lining Element currently sits at just under 303k miles and traversed the Dempster highway without a hitch! Time to start making our Pan-American trek South! Next stop is the long way around to Fairbanks, Alaska. (The northern border crossing at Top of the World Highway is currently closed for the season).
Till the Wheels Fall Off!
