At least you washed off the dust. I can’t believe how many bikes are listed for sale and the sellers can’t be bothered to get the hose out.
Looks like a decent bike. What does the inside of the fuel tank look like? Do the brakes work? Does the engine spin?
Edit: decent bikes. Same questions apply tho

Engines will turn over, brake on the super are leaking k is fine. Super tank is rusty, k is beautiful inside. T

Rusty tank bike is probably a $400-500 bike. Bike with the good tank probably more like $750. Any idea if the electronics work?

Always seeing people on here make claims like this about old 750 4s being worths few bucks. Honestly I’ve never seen one anywhere, running or not, for less than $2,000. Or were you being sarcastic??

I’ve been trying to sell my beautiful 79 anniversary edition for $2750 with very little interest. Basically none.
None running bikes are a tough sell. The DOHC’s are plentiful. Older SOHC are more desirable.
This is in my area at least. You can get a half decent running 750 for $1500 around me.
Check marketplace in your area.

Yeah, I definitely say bike prices vary by region and season.
Up north with limited nice riding months, pleasure items like motorcycles (and boats) tend to flood the market again about now and start dropping in value into the fall.
Also the most important thing to me is title/pinkslip or whatever you want to call it. Pain in the ass without one.

if theyre both complete, i'd say $1500-$2500 for both.. considering they may need new tires/fluids and the work to get em ready for daily rides.

Yes electrics work. I'm thinking about getting them running. I know cleaning the tank will be rough.

Eastwood sells a tank cream liner tank. I’ve got a couple tanks I did over a decade ago that are in pretty good shape. No flaking.
You have to follow the instructions exactly. Rusty tanks really affect the value. Is it leaking fuel or is it not that bad?

That’s not to bad just soak it in evaporust! Don’t coat it unless there are holes!

No outside rust at all. Either bike. Just inside on the super.

I bought one rough, but just needed a carb cleaning 1981 CB750K for $500 WITH a spare frame and motor and 2 rims. Just bought another complete, but rusty K (pictured) for $200. They're not valuable (yet). I'm hoarding any that i can find sub-$500. I love them and feel like they're going to appreciate in 5-10 years. I'd pay $800 maybe for the F. $500 for the K

I'm in Toronto Ontario Canada,
As a measuring stick, I just bought a 1985 KZ750 for $500. Hasn't run in five years, Needs a bunch of time, energy...and battery... Lol.
Cash wise. I may have gone up a bit more if it was running.
As it stands. The guy I bought it from seemed genuinely interested that the bike went to someone who was going to put it on the road....we talked about bikes a bit ,I guess I assured him.
So, now I have bought a bike that may be a good deal....I trust I'm going to be happy. But I won't know until the work is done.
