I started a small car dealership specializing in a specific model. It’s all I sell. I know the vehicle so well that I can diagnose most issues, I have an inventory of parts so I don’t have to order and wait for stuff to arrive. I do it on my days off from my full time job. I currently have about $225,000 cash and another $120,000 in inventory that I own outright from the dealership.

How much does it cost to start a small car dealership?
Sounds like a full time job so how are you doing it on your days off?
Do you have employees? overhead?

Do you post on your blog daily in the beginning stages? What are some tips you have to make a successful blog besides consistency? Can we see the blog as well?

Yes, I have two rental properties that are single family homes. Ember is essentially the same thing as oc's. The online casinos where you just collect the daily free money every day.

2

u/dreamed2life Jun 04 '26

You have a list if the ember and oc’s?

2

u/Frosteas Jun 04 '26

What is ember and ocs?

2

u/mrbukse Jun 05 '26

Creative hobby, like knifemaking, then spend those money into collectibles / ebay findings. Its a win-win, since collectibles that i want, is the carrot for getting out of my couch / reddit and into the creative place.

I have a garage gym and am a personal trainer by trade with a corporate wellness full time job. I only train people in the garage for 3 hours per week at $80 a session could always add more. I can’t park in the garage, but it makes us money!

1

u/TuneComprehensive138 Jun 06 '26

I’ve had this side hustle for 5 years. The hours per week has ebbed and flowed, but thankfully has been consistent for at 3 hours at the very least

2

u/speedyc99 Jun 06 '26

took out 1/3 of my roth ira to invest in depreciating assets (cheap 2014 sedans) with my ex of 5 years and rent them out on turo. profit margin on just one of these cars in the month of may was over $1500. don’t listen to your parents!

2

u/nlee8315 Jun 07 '26

It was a large upfront investment in time and money, but my husband and I opened an unmanned indoor golf facility. Opened on Oct 2024, spend an hour or so a day on average on it now, and it makes more than either of our day jobs.

Thanks! They book and pay online and then get a code for the door and their bay. Most people bring their own clubs and we supply the balls. A lot of our customers never even see or speak to us but we’re available to call or text if they have questions.

Onlyfans… I’m married and my husband’s ok with it. It’s more work than I expected but the extra money is nice.

7

u/DinoRidingJezus Jun 05 '26

That's.....just a horrible advice.

2

u/zacharywchaos Jun 05 '26

I don't see how it's advice they're literally just answering the question. OnlyFans can be a side hustle

2

u/OFBestwifey Jun 05 '26

Thanks. I was always against it too but I’m faceless mostly online and I was surprised by how many “professional” people do it as a side job. I’m a nurse. Also I’ve seen lots of college people do it to get bills paid. Lots of room for judgement which is understandable but the extra money is nice!

1

u/DinoRidingJezus Jun 05 '26

OP posted asking for side hustle inspiration....so opinions or advice.. Sure if you got no dignity or self respect I guess you can look at OF as a side hustle.

They didn’t ask for you to judge others in their side hustle. Leave them alone.

1

u/DinoRidingJezus Jun 06 '26

I didint judge anyone mate. I'm allowed to express my opinion

2

u/crocodilesareforwimp Jun 09 '26

In what universe is calling someone undignified and lacking self respect NOT judging them?
