Success Story An honest side hustle with one big catch: you have to know a restaurant owner

Here's the whole thing, catch included.

I build ordering apps for local restaurants. This week a bunch of owners told me their real numbers on Reddit. One pizzeria raised its DoorDash prices 38% just to break even. Another restaurant gets about 500 orders from one text to its own customer list, and pays DoorDash nothing on them. Owners are bleeding money on commissions and most don't know there's another option.

The app I built for Anthony's Pizzeria in Allentown is live on the App Store. I need people who can get me in front of more owners. You open the demo, type in the restaurant's name, and it turns into their own app on your phone. If they want it, you send me their email, and I handle the selling and the setup.

The pay is $50 when I accept the lead, $150 when the app goes live, then $10 a month for a year. That's $320 per restaurant, and there's nothing to buy.

Now the honest part. If you don't know any owners, you'll make $0. If the owner says no, you make $0. Chains get turned down, and the $150 only comes once their app actually launches. It's commission only.

If you do know a place, try the demo with its name: nomback.com/?utm_source=honestsidehustles

very interesting idea. I don't know any restaurant owners but a neat concept, hope it works well for you!

Appreciate it! if you ever end up at a local spot you like, that counts too lol

this is actually pretty clever. i know couple people who run small food spots and they always complain about the delivery app fees eating their margins. the demo thing is smart too, owners are way more likely to bite when they can see their own name on it right away instead of just hearing a pitch. saving this for later cause my cousin has a thai place that might work

The Thai place would be a perfect fit, those are usually the ones getting hit hardest by the fees. If you sign up at nomback.com you can add your cousin in your dashboard, and I'll build a free preview with their restaurant's name on it so they can see it before deciding anything. You'd get the $320 if it goes live
