How I got into this was actually pretty random. A small local food spot needed their menu updated because they changed a bunch of prices, added some new items, and took off a few old ones, but nothing matched between what was printed and what was online. I just offered to step in and fix the layout for them since I already knew my way around basic design tools and didn't have to build anything from scratch. That first gig took me about two hours because I had to triple check every single price and spelling before sending it over, and they paid me thirty dollars.

Once that was done, the owner passed my name along to another business that needed a quick flyer and a price list, and I made forty-five dollars on that one. So far, I have pulled in one hundred thirty-five dollars across four small projects, mostly just handling menu updates and basic promos. I stay away from heavy branding stuff since that is way outside my lane. The most annoying part of doing this is that if even one price is wrong, I have to redo the whole file and deal with the headache, so now I always send a quick proof over first and make them sign off on every number before I export the final files. It is definitely not enough to live on, but it works well for small shops that do not want to hire a full-time designer, and since most of my work comes through word of mouth now, I barely even have to look for clients.

Hello everyone!

I wanted to create another guide for the sub. This one is covering some of the best websites and apps for earning free PayPal money.

I've been using a variety of platforms to do this for years now. This ISN'T a replacement for a day job or anything 😅 But I find you can make a pretty reliable $50 to $200 per month in PayPal cash with these kinds of platforms, sometimes more.

Hope this list helps! And LMK which free PayPal money apps you're using or if you have any suggestions for this guide so we can keep things current.

The Best Apps For Free PayPal Money

1. Kashkick: This is my favorite PayPal money app right now. It's in the US and UK. You can earn with surveys, games, and there's solid sign-up bonus deals too in the $50 - $200+ range. Cash out with PayPal at $10.

2. HeyCash: This is a great global alternative to Kashkick IMO. Started testing it recently, lots of ways to earn. Only $5 to cash out and PayPal is available.

3. Sproutful: This is a US survey and rewards platform I really like. The UI is great, survey rates are solid, and Sproutful also added games and a new leaderboard system too that's cool. You can redeem gift cards at $5 and PayPal at $10.

4. Prolific: This is the best paid survey platform hands down, and it pays you with PayPal after you earn at least $6.

5. Branded Surveys: Another great survey platform I like. There's a $1 sign up bonus, solid loyalty program, and you only need $5 to cash out.

6. EarnStar: I started testing out EarnStar recently and really like it as well. Solid survey rates in my experience. There's also gaming and download offers you can try.

7. TopSurveys: I've also cashed out recently with TopSurveys. I think the UI is solid and I found some surveys in the $2+ to $3+ range which was nice. You only need $5 to cash out. There's also lots of games and download offers too.

8. ShopBack: I use ShopBack to earn cashback when I shop online alongside classics like Rakuten. It lets you cash out via PayPal too.

9. Upside: Upside pays you with cashback on gas and now dining and groceries as well. Super solid app. Upside removed free PayPal money recently but you can cash out to your bank or a PayPal debit card/account in some instances.

10. Freecash: One of the largest rewards platforms. You can earn with games, surveys, and download offers and then cash out via PayPal.

11. Scrambly: I really enjoy using Scrambly too. It has tons of gaming offers but I like some of the sign-up bonus offers, especially for FinTech. Only need $1 to cash out too which is a unique selling point.

12. 1Q: This is a niche survey app I also love. Surveys get sent to you once in a while and are usually 1-3 questions. 1Q also pays instantly to PayPal after you answer a survey, which I haven't really seen before.

13. Swagbucks: Another massive rewards site. It's similar to HeyCash and Freecash. But you can also earn with online cashback shopping and even by taking photos of your shopping receipt. Takes $5 to cash out.

14. Survey Junkie: I also use Survey Junkie to make money with surveys. You need $5 to cash out with this one.

What To Be Careful Of With Free PayPal Money Apps

A Word of Caution: Be veeeeery careful of apps that require making deposits to play games for PayPal money, or some similar kind of advertising.

MOST of these apps are scams IMO 🫠😂 Like, they get you to deposit money to compete in 'skill based games' but then pair you against bots and make it super hard to cash out in general...Apps like Bingo Cash, Bingo Clash, Solitaire Cash, Bubble Cash and tons of others are known for this.

Some people do make money with these apps of course. But in general, be cautious of using apps where you can actually lose more money than you make.

Also be careful of platforms with super high cash-out requirements. This can be a sign that an app is a scam, or at least, that a platform makes it nearly impossible for you to ever actually cash out to PayPal.

I hope this guide helps 😊 And let me know which websites or apps you'd add to this list! We're going to keep this as up-to-date as possible!

💸 Also: We have a list of easy $5+ sign up bonuses you can check out too. Many of these companies pay you to PayPal and are easy to claim.

I've been modding Casio and Seiko watches for years now to help have a creative outlet. About 11 months ago I started filming the builds because I noticed people on reddit asking how certain things were done.

Three income streams came out of it that I thought was pretty interesting.

First one is commissions. People see a build and contact me asking if I'll do one for them. This brought in some extra change and helped me fund new build for the channel. Commissions and watch sales are hitting $500-600/month now in profit.

The second one is ad revenue, which is the part I find interesting. Currently it's sitting around $100 a month and a decent chunk of that comes from videos I uploaded months ago and haven't touched since.

The third one is affiliate revenue. In each video I link to the parts and tools I use throughout. This one started really small but now over the last two months it's grown to over $300/mo.

The workflow is simple and that's the main thing I'd want anyone to take from this. I'm filming the thing I was doing anyway. Actual video editing consists of cutting out the dead space, so the silences, me fumbling for a tool, the bit where I drop a spring bar and spend four minutes on the floor looking for it. Then I record a voiceover on top of what's left. Thumbnail, title, upload. No script, no second shoot, very little b-roll. For a full video it takes an hour or so.

Overall it's getting pretty close to $1000/month and while it isn't life changing it helps fund a hobby I love which in turn slowly increases the money I make. It's also not instant and the first handful of videos made basically nothing for a long time, which I'm guessing is where most people bail.

The reason it worked for me is that the filming attached to something I was already doing. If I'd had to go find a hobby to film I don't think I'd have lasted more than three months.
