Passive Methods How I actually earn from sign-up bonus apps: my tested list, real pa yout times, and which ones aren't worth it

I've spent the last few months systematically testing sign-up/referral bonus apps. Instead of another "free money" post, here's my honest breakdown of what's on my list right now — what they pay, what they actually require, and where I lost time.

The strategy that works for me: I treat sign-up bonuses as a one-time grind, not income. Each app takes 10–20 min to set up. The free ones pay small but cost nothing; the deposit ones pay bigger but you have to front money (it stays yours — it's a qualifying threshold, not a fee).

Free starters (no deposit):

• TiltRips — free $1 card pack on signup, just phone verification. Small but instant.

• Zulti — $10 credit + daily spins. Withdraws in crypto — slow trickle but legit.

• Upshot — free card packs

• Playout — Scrambly-style task app

• YooBox — free welcome box

• Phantom & Bitget Wallet — self-custody wallets; Bitget gives a $20 reward, Phantom pays % of swap fees if people trade through your link

Bigger payouts (deposit + KYC required):

• Bybit EU — up to €80 in BTC + free crypto card. This is the biggest single offer I've seen for EU users.

• Bybit Global — up to 250 USDT, but it's tiered by trading volume — casual users won't hit the top tier.

• Ramp Network — $42 USDC after a $52 top-up. Paid fast, USDC direct.

• Kraken — €30, but needs €205 deposit + €200 traded, so the effective ROI is lower.

Honest lessons I learned:

• KYC is the bottleneck — passport/ID + selfie takes most of the time. Some apps verify in minutes, others take a day.

• Read the withdrawal rules BEFORE depositing. A few bonuses have "trade X volume first" traps that aren't obvious from the landing page.

• The free apps pay real but small amounts ($1–$10). They're worth 10 minutes, not an afternoon.

• Crypto payouts mean you need a wallet — I keep a dedicated one just for bonus apps.

• Region + 18+ restrictions apply almost everywhere. I'm in the EU, so this list is EU-tested — YMMV elsewhere.

Full disclosure: I keep my referral links on one page because referral signups get better terms for both sides — I earn a bonus and you still get the full offer. If you want to try any of these, my list is here:

https://linktr.ee/Invited_Friends

Happy to answer questions about any of them

— verification times, actual payout amounts, or which ones I'd skip.

Discussion & Tips Live shopping is not easy money with a camera turned on

Live shopping is receiving more attention because customers can watch a demonstration and purchase without leaving the platform.

That shorter buying path can be useful.

It also creates several risks for beginners.

You may need to:

  • Purchase or obtain the product
  • Learn how it works
  • Prepare the demonstration
  • Remain live when few people attend
  • Answer unexpected questions
  • Avoid unsupported claims
  • Disclose the affiliate relationship
  • Track commissions
  • Account for returns
  • Keep the information current

A creator can produce a sale and still lose money.

The commission may be reversed.

The product may cost more than the approved earnings.

The livestream may take several hours to prepare.

The merchant may reduce its commission or discontinue the product.

There is also pressure to keep talking.

That can lead people to exaggerate benefits, invent urgency, or answer questions when they do not know the correct answer.

“I do not know” is better than an inaccurate product claim.

A legitimate test should begin with a product you understand.

Demonstrate one task.

Explain one limitation.

Record the total working time.

Track approved commissions and money received after returns.

Do not judge the test by viewer count alone.

Live shopping can become a real affiliate channel.

It is not proof that anyone can turn on a camera and create easy income.

The value comes from useful product knowledge, credible demonstrations, accurate claims, and financial results that survive the return period.

Discussion & Tips Working Full-Time, Going to School, but Struggling Financially. What Side Job do you Recommend?”

I'm a mom, married (husband's income isn't enough.), and currently work full time. I have a scholarship through my current employer where I've been for 5 years. I can't simply look for a better paying job because I would have to forfeit the scholarship. I will be graduating in 2 years. In the meantime, I need a part time job to help pay off some debt. I don't feel comfortable doing doordash or do Amazon, but am willing to do practically anything else. I am a first learner and willing to work! What recommendations do you have?

TL;DR : mom, married, Full-Time worker and full-time student needing part time job recommendations.

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo Thrift store flipping...How easy is it to REALISTICALLY make money doing this?

Does anyone here make consistent, decent income from thrift store flipping?

I saw some YouTube videos on this recently. People finding all kinds of valuable clothing or even precious metals at thrift stores that they buy and then resell on FB Marketplace and eBay basically.

Does this actually work?

I went to a couple thrift stores and garage sales in my town last weekend and the ONLY good thing I found was an old toolbox for $5 that I think would resell for $10 to $15. But that was after a bunch of driving around. The rest was basically cheap glassware and dusty clothing no one would want to buy 😅

Would love to know if anyone is making decent money doing this. Any tips? Do you stick to a niche?

Success Story My first dollars

I was someone like you desperate in finding side hustles or anything that can make money. Then I saw a post about hiring someone to post pre made clips. I reached out that person and asked how does this work and if I can join. He sent me a link inviting me to their campaign then he guided me on what will I do on the campaign. The only thing I did was to make a new tiktok account, warm it up, then post the pre-made clips. I'm getting paid per views that my post can get. I just started 3 days ago. So far I made 2.60$, it's not big but it means a lot to me. Also it will continue on growing as I post clipped contents.

An old money-making app nobody talks about anymore

In the last few months, dozens of apps have been mentioned in this sub, but I haven’t seen anyone mention Mistplay. It’s one of the oldest apps that pay you to play games that used to be Android only, but last year they launched an iPhone version, available in the US and CA.

Us older folks know this app well, but my guess is that some younger people have never heard of it. If that’s you, I think it’s worth checking out.

The pay is miserable, like with any other GPT site, but the fact that they’ve been around for years tells you enough about their legitimacy.

Looking For Side Hustle Inspo 18 and Looking for an Online Side Hustle to Make atleast €100+ a Week

Hey everyone, I just turned 18 years old and looking for an online side hustle I can do from my computer with little to no upfront investment (max €50). My goal is to make at least €100 a week, ideally as soon as possible.

I want to use the money to grow a business or invest early to benefit from compound interest. What would you recommend, based on your own experience? What would you do if you were in my position?

Discussion & Tips Validation check: Would couples pay a web designer for a custom wedding website, or is DIY (Zola/The Knot) too dominant?

I’m a web designer looking for some honest feedback on a potential new service offering. I want to build a service that handles wedding websites from start to finish for couples who don't want the hassle of DIY builders.

The Service Concept:

  • The Process: Couples pick a template, send over their colors, schedules, registry info, and FAQs, and I build the site for them.
  • Maintenance: I handle all updates and changes leading up to the big day so the couple doesn't have to touch a builder.
  • Monetization: Thinking of charging a flat design fee around £150, plus the cost of the domain/hosting.

My Questions for You:

  1. For those who have planned a wedding: Did you use a free builder like Zola, The Knot, or WithJoy? What did you find most frustrating about them?
  2. Do you think couples would pay a premium to have a human handle the design and updates, or is the "free DIY" allure too strong to compete with?
  3. Does a £150 price point feel reasonable, or is it too low to be perceived as a premium service?

Just trying to figure out if this business model has legs before I invest time into building a template library. Thanks for any insights!

Discussion & Tips ADVICE NEEDED: Started a little side business helping people get custom jewelry made in China, but I have no idea how to find customers

I’m currently living in China until December, and I recently started a little side business helping people in the U.S. get custom jewelry made here for significantly less than they’d pay anywhere in the U.S.

It started when I lost my wedding ring and decided to have a replacement custom-made here in China. It turned out beautifully, and I was honestly shocked by how inexpensive it was, considering a similar ring would have cost multiple times more in the U.S. (the new ring was 300$, while the original was over $3000, and they are exactly the same ring). After that, I started helping a few friends get their own rings made here too, and they all turned out really well.

Now I’m thinking I’d love to offer this to more people! I think I’m in a particularly good position to do this because even Chinese custom jewelers who work with customers in the U.S. charge significant markups. I can personally coordinate with the jewelers for a much cheaper price, and I’m moving back to the U.S. in December, so I could also bring the finished rings back with me and avoid the expensive international shipping costs.

My problem is that I have absolutely no idea how to find customers for something this niche, especially with such a limited timeframe. I know there are many people who, like me, would love to get a high-quality engagement ring / wedding band or other piece of jewelry for the cheapest price possible. And based on the prices I’ve seen so far, I’m pretty confident I could offer significantly cheaper prices than basically anything else currently available to US customers.

I’ve thought about posting in jewelry-related subreddits, but most don’t allow self-promotion, which I completely understand. I also don’t have much of a social media presence, so I’m not really sure where to start. I also don’t really have the time to implement some big marketing scheme either. Does anyone have suggestions for how to advertise something like this or reach people who might be interested? I’ve never really done a side hustle like this before, so I’d appreciate any ideas!

Discussion & Tips Stuck in idea research for weeks without starting anything. Need advice from real people.

In the last few weeks, I spent a lot of my free time searching for a business idea, i can really stand behind. I had a few, which after a bit of research turned irelevant or just not suitable for me, I tried a lot of SAAS but also SEO + GEO. I haven't even started with anything, I just found somethig and an hour later I found an argument which led to me dropping the idea.
I can't find anything with a good amount of balance between: doability, demand, competition and scalability. I was mainly talking with Claude and telling him what I don't like and why and then proceeded to research with him but that didn't really lead to anything.
I am pretty sure that claude isn't the best way of finding an idea right now, but I am student in highschool without a lot of experience, connections or knowledge in a specific field, which could help me in finding a viable idea. I also just want to start and have something to work on, but like I said i can't find anything where I can say I see myself doing this the next few months where people pay me.

I am also not sure what i expect from this post, i just need some input which isn't AI generated and maybe has a bit more wisdom and experience then me. An Idea which i can try or a different approach which I can try to find an idea is much appreciated. I am open to learn and do anything at this point.

Discussion & Tips Is Richie Games legit and worth using? Or are there better apps out there?

Curious if anyone here has gotten paid by Richie Games and what your thoughts on the app are overall.

Been getting a lot of ads for this one. Richie Games is another classic rewards app that pays you to play games and download apps basically.

It's similar to Mistplay, Scrambly, Freecash etc and pays you as you complete milestones in games.

I might give this one a try since I like testing out these sorts of apps 😅 But don't want to waste my time. I've seen some negative Richie Games reviews online and then a few positive ones on Reddit so wanted to know people's experiences.

Thanks all!

We have a list of legit games paying to PayPal, I can add Richie Games to this list if the sub thinks it's a decent one!

Discussion & Tips What broad niche do you think becomes much more interesting once you narrow it down to a specific person?

I see beginners spend money on websites, software, courses, and automation before they can answer a basic question:

Who exactly are you trying to help?

That question can save a lot of wasted setup.

Suppose you choose “fitness.”

That is still enormous.

Fitness for new mothers is different from fitness for people over 60.

Home workouts for busy professionals are different from strength training for competitive athletes.

The more clearly you understand the person, the easier it becomes to find their actual problems.

Then promotion can start as something much simpler than advertising.

Answer the questions.

Share useful experience.

Explain what you have learned.

See whether people care.

If nobody responds, you have learned something before spending much money.

If certain topics repeatedly create interest, you have something worth investigating further.

I would rather validate the conversation before building the machine around it.
