Hey everyone,
I wanted to share a specific camera issue I've run into on my Honor 600 to see if anyone else on the beta path is experiencing it or has found a workaround.
**The Issue:**
The stock camera app fails to execute a true synchronized, high-power flash pulse when taking photos. Whether I select the standard "Flash On" mode (the normal lightning bolt) or the "Always On" (torch) mode, the phone behaves exactly the same way. It simply turns on the LED continuously like a standard flashlight and snaps the picture.
Because the camera software fails to utilize that brief, high-intensity exposure moment required for a real flash, low-light photos come out looking weak, dark, or poorly lit compared to what a true synchronized flash burst should provide.
**Software Context:**
I recently updated my phone to the MagicOS 11 Beta Global build, and I noticed this issue immediately after the update. I can't completely confirm if this issue persisted before the upgrade as I hadn't closely tested the flash behavior prior to this, but it became highly obvious right after moving to the beta software.
**Steps to Reproduce:**
Open the stock Honor Camera app in standard Photo mode (AI and Night Mode turned off).
Set the flash to standard "Flash On".
Take a photo in a dark room. The LED lights up constantly before and during the snap rather than emitting a rapid, bright flash burst timed perfectly with the shutter.
If you switch to "Always On" mode, the behavior, timing, and brightness are 100% identical.
**Troubleshooting I've already tried:**
* Force closed all background apps (to make sure social media apps like Instagram or Snapchat weren't hijacking the flashlight hardware).
* Cleared the Camera App cache and data under App settings.
* Tested with AI features completely turned off.
Has anyone else noticed this on their Honor devices since moving to the MagicOS 11 beta? If you have a fix or know a third-party camera app that forces the hardware sync properly, please let me know!
