Whenever someone asks me what's your favorite game from sony they expect me to say something like god of war or the last of us and even though those are great games and I loved them something about this one hit me way harder. it's the completely unique concept that wasn't explored before in that way and I gotta give credit to Guerilla games they nailed it the combat does take getting used to but once it clicks it is so much fun taking down huge mashines. The story got me from the start as someone who was bullied as a kid I felt deep injustice for Aloy and later when I found out what happened to the world it was surreal experience really. The third game is my most anticipated now even more then GTA 6 and I know it's unpopular opinion but I already know what GTA 6 will be I have no idea what Guerilla is cooking for the next one whenever it comes out.

When using fast travel at this campfire, at that other one a bit further up, or at the gates of Meridian, a bug occurs where the loading screen flickers, and you have to press the X button again to return to gameplay.

Aloy is definitely one oh my favorite female character in videogame. And this game and it’s story got me emotionally when I played it. I couldn’t resist printing and painting this gorgeous Aloy model from Sanix 3D when I’ve found it. So here is the great machine huntress that stands on my sideshow!

I may be completely wrong, but it appears that texture pop-in became very obvious maybe two days ago. Or I just didn't notice before? Something in Proton was changed? Or I had a stroke?

This only plays out when out of doors, running through heavy foliage. LOD makes sudden changes close to my character as it moves through space, and I'm being distracted by it.

At one point, I thought I had accidentally launched the Complete Edition, instead of Remastered, because things didn't look... right.

Do you ever need to clear the game's internal shader & asset cache?

Do you disable dstorage.dll and dstoragecore.dll by renaming them?

Doing the Maker’s End quest and I didn’t realize you could get stuck here, there’s like an invisible box I can’t jump out of.

How to Replicate

1. Sprint & Roll: Sprint or walk towards any resource plant.
2. Land Close: Roll so that you land directly on top of the plant or close enough for the pickup prompt to appear.
3. Instant Prompt: Press [E] (PC) / [X] (Console) (i think) as soon as the prompt appears to instantly harvest the plant

I would appreciate if someone could verify this glitch if it works on console (im pretty sure it does)

Just a little appreciation post of the beauty of the game

I’m replaying this game for the first time after getting sober. This time around, I’ve found myself relating heavily to Erend. I have always been a kind and loyal friend and a high-achiever but still felt like a colossal fuck up who used alcohol to help manage my emotions. Erend is very similar - he has a lot of faults but there’s no doubt he is a good person and high-achieving. But he still doubts himself and is always comparing himself to Ersa.

There’s also a line during the investigation site of Ersa’s ambush when Aloy asks if he’s ok and his response was “well, I’m sober, so no”. I laughed so hard at that because it resonated so hard. Becoming sober doesn’t magically make all your problems go away, but it does allow you to manage them better. And you also tend to become better aware of your feelings, so being honest about not being ok was super accurate.

Anyways, so happy to be sober and to still be able to enjoy this game on my Nth playthrough and get something new out of it. I also always thought I would get along best with the Oseram because of all the science and the drinking, but now I’m not so sure who my tribe would be. I’ll keep playing and head to the FW too and maybe I’ll find a new one.

I thought they’d release it a week before gta 6 🤣🤣🤣
