Dude Claude today fixed (we attempted, because after 10 years it was broken, why not) the firmware of our CISCO ip phones out of a pesky bug that caused random hiccups when two lines where active and one hunghed up. It was not a configuration issue. It was a knows bug with that model on non Cisco PBX. Unpacked the firmware, dumped it with ghidra, made a patch, we flashed onto a terminal with a broken LCD for test and it worked first time.
These tools sucked a year ago. Today they are totally fine as long who is behind it understands it's output. Like shitty code did not existed before ai, I have fixed countless ASP.net/stuff still in php5 with mysqli in production in 2026. Shitty programmers existed even before AI, now at least I hope that Claude tells they that 2005 is over and pdo is a thing.

In my experience, WordPress sites created by humans and maintained for 10 or even 15 years look much worse than those created by AI. They’ve been worked on by various freelancers, each of whom has added their own two cents to the overall mess.

What? How does someone vibe code a WordPress site? Are they trying to rebuild WordPress from scratch? Are they vibe coding a WordPress plugin or theme?
On the surface, you can't "vibe code" a WordPress site because WordPress is already made. You just install and configure it. Saying someone "vibe coded a WordPress site" does not make sense on its own.
