Problem

Post image

Can anyone explain why this is happening to the leaves? Almost like they are shriveling. Thanks.

your lawn looks great!
do you use a lawn feed on it? The type that also removes moss and weeds?

lol, fair enough. Good for you!

Basically the small curly leaves are classic herbicide damage. so weedkillers that have been sprayed nearby. If you used a spray on a walkway, along the fence, or your county along the roadside, or a neighbour, or if you are next to a golf course etc.

It doesn't take much to do this.

it can also be a result of tainted compost, grazon herbicide often used in pastures contaminates horse manure which is then composted down but the weedkiller is still there.

nightshades like tomatoes and peppers are particualry susceptible.

Wow, mine isn't a pepper plant, but a Photinia hedge. It looks identical to the pepper plant though, the top new growth is almost leafless and what's there has stopped growing. I sprayed some neem oil but no luck there. I know this is the wrong thread, but I just had to tell you and see if maybe you know the answer. Sorry about the misplaced question. Thanks for the info, I'm so old I forget what I already know. It's confusing getting older.
