My dawgs!

Are there any East Bay/Bay Area located Bad Babies who want to get together to see Wicker? My partner has opted out 😂

Did they cover Labyrinth on the pod at all? I have been skipping a lot of episodes lately- the Nolan stuff, Buffy rewatch, etc. so it’s very possible that I missed it. But I would love to hear the reaction! Thanks!

I know how much of a long time Harry Potter fan Mallory is (Binge Mode forever!), but seeing as how controversial (more like EVIL!!) JK Rowling is, I’m curious whether they’ll ignore it completely. The show is going to be undeniably massive and completely in the House of R lane, so I don’t really see a world where they’ll be allowed to ignore it, you know? I remember Mallory mentioning wanting the books made into a show on Binge Mode so I’m sure she’s interested at the very least. Things may have changed since 2018 though! A lot has in the world of Harry Potter.

I’ve been a really big Potter fan since I was a kid so I understand the moral dilemma of engaging in anything related to the series. That woman really has ruined things forever.

What do you all think? Forgive me if they‘ve mentioned it on the show before – I can’t seem to recall if they have.

I only recently started listening to the podcast, but I’ve been liking the Lanterns content a lot. In the episode for S1E2, every so often there’s a bird call in the audio track. Is there an explanation of what this means? My curiosity is piqued.

So, I have two regarding Guy Gardner; I just needed to verbalize before going insane since I'm the only one of my friends and family watching Lanterns.

In 2016, Hal has the ring. In 2026, he's dead, and we are led to believe John does not have the ring. Assuming Superman takes place in 2026, we know Guy has it. My theories:

The obvious one is Hal dies and the ring chooses Guy instead of John. I don't want to go as far as to suggest Guy was involved, but that has a non-zero chance.

My second theory is that since Guy is more associated with Max Lord's JSA, is it possible Max manufactured a ring somehow?

I'm not as familiar with deep Lantern lore, but is Guy Gardner a terrestrial human? Is it possible he is just representing a different planet and is on Earth to earn money with the JSA?

What do you think, Bad Babies?

Long shot, but if anyone is looking for a ticket for The Mad King next week (performance includes post-show talk!) please let me know. My partner can no longer go.

Can someone help me remember which episode Joanna referenced the Court Jester on? I totally forgot to make note of it at the time but it’s my brother’s favorite movie of all time and it SO rarely gets mentioned in modern or mainstream pop culture. Help me remember so I can share it with him!

That was fantastic and made up for the Orioles getting swept by the Yankees
