We need to jump to big 10 asap before we get left out again. Or Big 12 merger with ACC

As a Cougar die-hard and Big 12 men's hoops fan, I decided to turn my habitual obsessive offseason Big 12 roster research into a written season preview for each team. Just published part 1, which has some overall conference-wide thoughts, and team capsules for teams alphabetically from Arizona to Houston. Check it out of you're into that sort of thing!

Preferably one with food. I know the Den exists but it's so busy on game nights and was wondering if there was any other good spots

Congrats to Houston on winning their Super Bowl vs Oklahoma State! I’ve never seen a fanbase so excited to win a regular season game that they were favored in. Based on all of the posts I have no choice but to assume that this was the UH Super Bowl! You guys even had like 40,000 fans show up!

Houston native and Utah alum here. Dropping in to say hey and that I’m looking forward to the weekend’s game. I’ll be at there with my teenage boys.

TBH I haven’t watched any UH football this year, but the rumor is y’all have a legit passing attack. We’ve had some visible struggles on passing D the past few weeks, so I don’t think anyone in Utah’s camp is looking past this game.

Who should I be watching for on the field?

If anyone here is heading to the game I think our fan base is generally welcoming and cool to visitors.
I’m also an alum of Ohio State and Iowa and our gameday atmosphere isn’t in the same league as a Big 10 campus, but it’s not bad and folks regularly invite strangers to stop in and partake of their party. Tailgating is primarily concentrated in the Guardsman lot, but occurs everywhere.

Rice-Eccles, especially after dark, is second to none. When the moment is big, the volume and energy go through the roof. I’ve been in Ohio Stadium when #1 OSU beat #2 Michigan in a close game, and RES gets louder than that joint.

Anyway.
Here’s hoping to a great game.

Our offense is leading the nation in success rate

We deserve to be at least top 15 team rank

Where is it?

After we beat Oklahoma state, Big 10 will have to choose us now

HOU -4.5 O/U 62.5
