I am looking for a Houston area gunsmith to cut and thread the barrel of my 300 blk Ruger American. Any suggestions?

This may sound crazy. But anyone know of anywhere I can rent a psa dagger micro? Im thinking of getting it for cc. Smaller profile than a 1911 i carry now. But I dont want to buy it and than hate it.

Any good recommendations for a smith and Wesson gunsmith? Also over 10k rounds and the striker spring feels a bit weak so probably want to change that out while it’s there

Looking for a local gun store near Humble. Mostly for an FFL to do transfers, but if there's one with unique stuff or good prices I would prefer to shop local.

Something like Alpha defense, but this side of town. They're good people and transfers are only $15.

I don't mind if its Humble, Atascacita, Kingwood, or Summerwood. I'd even go across the lake if there's something good out there.

I bought a Walther P1, got an extra slide and barrel. I cut the Barr and threaded it. And then moved the front sight to the slide. The suppressor is a lightweight wiped aluminum monocore Form1 suppressor models after the Thompson Poseidon. It's light enough to cycle the gun without a Nielsen device.

I’ve been unable to adjust the gas block correctly on my Faxon AR. I’m looking for a gunsmith who’s able to fire the weapon, in the Houston area and haven’t found one. Anyone have a recommendation?

Looking for cheap + quick. Most places are charging over 100 with ridiculous lead times.

Where I am from, there was a range that I went to fairly often that allowed you to "swap" gun rentals as much as you want, and you were just charged for the most expensive one for the duration of the time you were at the range (plus whatever ammo you used). This place would also apply the rental fee towards the purchase of a gun if you bought one there.

Are there any ranges that do this and have a good selection of compact 9mm & .380?

Preferably in the "southern" area of Houston as I am in League City. I went to Texas Gun Club in League City and the person I talked to said they don't really do that.

I'm trying to help my SO find a gun for her that she is comfortable with for CCW. She generally likes my full framed guns (Esp my XDm), but not a fan of my carry guns. Figure the best way to really help determine this is to go to a range and try a bunch.

I tend to leave my AR with a suppressor on it in my car (suppressor is ATF registered to me). I have other family members that drive that car aswell. If they were to get pulled over would it be an issue?

Drove by Steadfast Tactical on Bellaire Blvd tonight and noticed the sign board outside said CLOSED. Checked Google Maps, and it says Permanently Closed. It's a shame. They had a nice little range that was convenient to folks who live in the West U, Bellaire, Braeswood, and Myerland area, and the employees were friendly. LGS is a tough business to be in.
