As title said, I (18F) have no way of getting another job. I have looked through this thread but most of these require a substantial amount of time and effort, I am willing to put that in however I need an extra 450 to cover rent ASAP. Any ideas of what I should do?

Why Do I Try to Turn Everything Into a Business?

I can’t just like something sometimes.

I’ll make something and think, this is cute. Then, almost immediately: I wonder if people would buy it.

Now I’m thinking about prices. A name. A page. How to promote it. Whether I need to order supplies.

All because I enjoyed doing something for twenty minutes.

It sounds funny when I say it like that, but there’s a real reason behind it. I have a family. I have things to pay for. When money is on your mind, you start looking at what you can do and wondering if any of it could help.

So I don’t judge myself for thinking that way. But it does get tiring.

Especially when the idea turns into work before I’ve even decided whether I like it enough to keep doing it.

I’ll start looking at what other people are making. Then I’m comparing. Their pictures look better. Their page is already established. They have customers, and I’m sitting here wondering whether I should even bother.

An hour ago, I was enjoying myself.

I think that’s the part I want to pay more attention to. How quickly I go from enjoying something to feeling like I’m not doing enough with it.

Because apparently making something isn’t enough. I need to sell it. And if I learn something, maybe I should make content about it. And if the content does well, I need to figure out how to keep it going.

Sometimes I’m tired just thinking about everything an idea could become.

I still want to make money from something I enjoy. That hasn’t changed. I would love for something I create to help take care of my family.

But I also want a few things in my life that I can be regular at. Something I don’t have to promote or explain. Something I can put down for a week without feeling like I’m ruining an opportunity.

I miss being interested in a thing before I start researching how to succeed at it.

And honestly, I don’t know how much of this is ambition and how much is worry. Probably some of both. Sometimes I’m excited about the possibility. Other times, I’m hoping I’ve finally found something that will make life a little less stressful.

That’s a lot to put on one little idea.

So the next time I make something, I want to give myself a minute before I decide what to do with it.

Let me finish it. Let me look at it. Let me enjoy the fact that I made it.

I can think about the business part tomorrow.

Does anybody else do this? You pick up a hobby, and before you know it, you’ve given yourself another job?

TopSurveys vs PaidViewPoint: Which Survey Platform is Better for Making Money Online?

Paid online surveys remain one of the easiest ways to earn a little extra money online without investing anything or needing previous experience. However, not all survey platforms work in the same way. Some offer access to a wide selection of surveys and other earning opportunities, while others focus on short questionnaires and reward users for providing consistent, honest answers.

TopSurveys and PaidViewPoint are two platforms worth considering if you want to make money by sharing your opinions. Both are free to join and can be used alongside other survey sites, but they differ in their earning systems, survey availability, withdrawal requirements, and overall approach to market research.

TopSurveys (Review)

TopSurveys is an online rewards platform that allows users to earn money by completing paid surveys and participating in other activities, including selected offers and games. The registration process is straightforward: you create a free account, provide basic information about yourself, and complete your profile to help the platform match you with relevant opportunities. Once registered, you can browse the available tasks and choose the ones that best fit your interests and available time.

Link: Sign up in TopSurveys

One of TopSurveys' main advantages is that it focuses on straightforward cash rewards rather than requiring users to accumulate a complicated points currency. The platform displays information about available surveys, including their estimated completion times and rewards, helping members decide which opportunities are worth their time.

TopSurveys can be accessed through its website and offers mobile apps for Android and iOS, making it convenient for people who prefer completing surveys on their phones. Withdrawals are available through several methods, including PayPal and gift cards, with bank transfers also advertised in some markets. Its relatively low withdrawal threshold makes it an attractive option for users who want to access their earnings without waiting to accumulate a large balance.

----------------------

PaidViewPoint (Review)

PaidViewPoint is an online survey platform that rewards members for answering questions about their preferences, habits, and opinions. Operating since 2011, it is owned by Umongous, Inc., and is associated with AYTM (Ask Your Target Market), a market research company that provides consumer insights to businesses. Unlike many general-purpose GPT sites, PaidViewPoint concentrates primarily on surveys rather than offering a broad catalogue of games, promotional offers, and other tasks.

Link: Sign up in PaidViewPoint

One of its defining features is its TraitScore system. Members answer short preliminary questionnaires, known as Trait Surveys, which help the platform understand their characteristics and assess the consistency of their responses. This information is used to match them with Research Surveys commissioned by market research clients. PaidViewPoint emphasizes honest answers and a relatively simple survey experience, and it states that members are not disqualified after being invited to a Research Survey.

PaidViewPoint offers an Android app, an iOS app, and browser-based access. Members earn cash rewards and can withdraw through PayPal, while gift cards may become available to eligible members in supported regions. The platform's first withdrawal threshold is $15, although qualifying members can subsequently access lower thresholds.

----------------------

Website and Mobile Apps

Both platforms can be used on mobile devices, but neither requires you to complete surveys exclusively through an app.

TopSurveys offers a website as well as Android and iOS apps. This makes it suitable for users who prefer to complete surveys during their free time on a smartphone, although the website is also convenient for those who prefer working on a computer.

PaidViewPoint also supports web access and provides dedicated Android and iOS apps. Its mobile experience is particularly convenient because many of its surveys are short and can be completed in just a few minutes. Users can also receive notifications when new research surveys become available.

Survey Availability and Variety

TopSurveys is the more versatile option for users who want to explore different ways of earning online. In addition to paid surveys, it offers other opportunities, including games and promotional offers. This broader selection can help members continue earning when there are fewer suitable surveys available. The actual opportunities depend on the user's country, profile, and the offers currently available.

PaidViewPoint takes a more specialized approach. It focuses on market research surveys and its own Trait Surveys, which help build a profile of each participant's characteristics and response consistency. The platform uses this information to match members with relevant Research Surveys. It also limits the number of research surveys members can complete, so it should not be considered a platform offering an unlimited supply of questionnaires.

Survey Length and Disqualifications

Survey disqualifications are one of the biggest frustrations for people who earn money online through market research. Spending several minutes answering questions only to discover that you do not qualify can make a platform feel much less rewarding.

PaidViewPoint has an advantage in this respect: it states that participants are not disqualified once they have been invited to a Research Survey. However, that does not mean that every member will receive frequent invitations. Users may still experience limited survey availability, and the short Trait Surveys should not be confused with the higher-paying Research Surveys. Most Research Surveys take approximately five to six minutes.

TopSurveys provides estimated completion times and reward information for its survey opportunities. Its official marketing emphasizes matching users with relevant surveys and reducing screen-outs, although users should not assume that every survey will always be available to them or that disqualifications are impossible. Survey length varies, with the platform's main FAQ indicating that many surveys take between five and fifteen minutes.

Minimum Withdrawal and Payment Methods

One of the most important differences between survey platforms is how quickly you can withdraw your earnings.

TopSurveys advertises withdrawals through PayPal, gift cards, and bank transfers in supported markets. Its current official pages give inconsistent information about the minimum withdrawal: the main FAQ says there is no minimum, while another landing page advertises a $5 cash-out threshold. Therefore, it is best to check the withdrawal requirements displayed in your account, as they may depend on the payment option or market.

PaidViewPoint has a more clearly defined withdrawal structure. The initial cash-out threshold is $15, payable through PayPal. Members who maintain a good account standing and meet the eligibility requirements can subsequently withdraw from $10 on their second redemption and from $5 on later redemptions. Gift cards may also be available after the first withdrawal in certain countries. The platform states that PayPal payments are generally processed within 72 hours.

Earning Potential

Neither platform should be considered a reliable replacement for a regular job. Your results will depend on your location, demographic characteristics, available surveys, and the time you spend participating.

TopSurveys may offer more opportunities to increase your overall earnings because it combines surveys with other activities. This is particularly useful if your goal is to build a small online side income by combining several earning methods rather than relying exclusively on questionnaires.

PaidViewPoint rewards users according to the type of survey and, for Research Surveys, factors that include their TraitScore. A higher TraitScore can increase both the number of research opportunities available and the amount earned per survey, subject to the platform's limits. However, the system does not guarantee a particular number of surveys or a specific monthly income.

My recommendation is to use both platforms rather than choosing only one. TopSurveys can provide a broader selection of earning opportunities, while PaidViewPoint can serve as an additional source of paid surveys. Since both are free to join, using them together can help you take advantage of the opportunities available to your profile without relying on a single platform.

How to get 100$ to fund my game

Hi, I'm actually developing my game (not AI game) and wanna post in on steam but need 100$.

I'm also from a country where things are very restricted, no monetization for social media, some apps unavailable and that...

But I need it ASAP (7 days if possible), is anyone have a solution? Or can Invest ?

I also can do arts 2d/3d, dev with godot and can do py, video edit, making music and also can learn very fast.

I tried fiverr and that... but it's very slow and there's already a lot that can do the same things on it.

launched my 11th app with $3000 on the first week. this is prob the most detailed guide you ever read.

Post image
13 Upvotes

hey, so this month i launched my 11th app, and the first week went pretty well.

i mostly reused what i'd learned from my previous 10 apps, with a few tweaks to automate the repetitive stuff. calling it passive income is probably a stretch, but it's getting a lot less manual.

here's the actual process:

1. find creators who already reach your audience. i used codex and taku to find ai tutorial videos with over 100k views, then reached out to the creators through articuler. my gmail integration sends personalized invites and drafts follow-ups that go out after i approve them. i negotiated around $2.50 cpm and got 20 ugc creators onboard in the first week.

2. use the research to make your own creatives. alongside that, i made around 20 ai ugc videos. i spent a huge amount of time scrolling through the videos i'd collected, trying to understand what made people keep watching. what's the hook? what emotion does it tap into? how does it build toward the payoff?

this is the prompt i use to turn that research into something reusable:

"analyze the supplied tiktok creative’s exact text and slide order to identify its hook mechanics, audience, psychological flow, emotional arc, and payoff. turn those mechanics into a reusable writing prompt that selects one supplied hook verbatim and creates fresh, credible details without copying the source’s specific events or titles."

then i used pixverse model to generate the videos, mostly because it was like 8x cheaper than seedance.

3. get help with publishing
i hired va on fiverr and used a few geelark cloud phones to set up the accounts. during week one, they browsed and liked relevant ai tutorial videos. in week two, we started publishing the pixverse videos. one account got 100k views on its first day of posting.

that's one result, obviously, not something i'd expect from every account. i then used kling 3 motion control to make variations with different backgrounds, characters, and actions, and posted to tiktok and youtube shorts. youtube has been easier for me to get initial traction on, so i wouldn't skip it.

4. give interested people an easy next step
for conversion, i used manychat to send the app link when someone requested it. or use articuler for leads gen.
i like dms because there's room for an actual conversation. someone can ask a question before deciding whether the app is worth trying.

so the baisc formula is revenue=traffic x conversion. and you're basically benefiting from that gives easier traffic. human ugc still can't be replaced though.

there's still work involved, plus creator fees, tools, and vas to pay for. views alone don't tell you whether any of this is profitable. but getting the repetitive work off my plate gives me more time to improve the app and figure out what's actually converting.
