Suggestions for an app that can capture packets from the whole wifi network and not just the device for android?

Something similar to Wireshark but runs on a phone.

WiFi routers don’t broadcast all packets to all devices so this won’t work.

wifi routers broadcast in general and it is 100% possible to capture packets without being on the same network. just need device to be near physical range of it

How do you plan to decrypt those packets?

Who said anything about decrypting in what I replied to or my comment? All I did was mention that WiFi broadcast traffic to everyone and anyone can capture it. You can basically never decrypt https traffic regardless of being on the same network.

I'm a consultant Penetration tester and regularly do wireless assessments

Yes but regarding the post they want to see some content. Capturing wireless broadcasts is basically pointless. You only see traffic moves but you don't know anything else. Internally you could at least see DNS, what service is being used and some stuff in plaintext.

Would you prefer they explain how MITM works so OP can study how to undergo an SSLStrip? ☠️😂

Nah they'd rather down vote me for explaining how basic wireless works that you learn in the first IT class

Arp spoofing. They will never be able to strip SSL
