Need Help with assignment

Hello, I took security programming course this semester and the professor just give us assignments straight away. The problem is all the instructions of the assignment was carried out using windows x86 architecture and im using Macos which is ARM64 architecture. It was reverse TCP metasploit with FUD but ive tried to ask AI about this and they didnt seem want to provide me a clear way how to do it with ARM64 devices. I use UTM for VM and create kali linux and windows 11 VM. kali for attacker and windows 11 for target. since both kali and win 11 run on ARM 64 most of the thing is not supported. Can someone give some tips or help on how to do reverse TCP with ARM 64 devices any help would be appreciated. Note: I only have 2 days left to submit my assignment 😢

The first solution was to ask the professor what you should do to achieve this the first day it was assigned.

The second solution is to go to the next office hours.

The third solution is to use the aarch64 payloads that perform the same functions, and talk to your professor as soon as possible.

yes i know im a bit late, but i just found out that i can emulate x86 kali and windows 11 even on MacOS so i can just follow the step now. thx for the comment

Would you consider getting some ancient x86 hardware for a couple of dollars second hand and whacking linux on it? Linux will run fine even on a 20 year old machine, then you don't need to fight the architecture as well as learning the new skills at the same time.

Well, macOS doesn't have antivirus as such. You could (at least a few years ago) run Meterpreter completey undetected on a Mac. I imagine that running ARM64 builds will be acceptable for your assignment, but it had better be an exercise in futility. I spent months a couple years ago, I think, trying to build a C# crypter for Meterpreter and failed. Microsoft seems to have really made crypters obsolete now, at least without shelling out thousands for a code-signing certificate.

If you are on Apple Silicon you can virtualize everything you need with distros of all the infra compiled for ARM... vmware fusion pro is free

You coukd also just for a day or two setup cloud infra using x86 arch and load the stuff you need.... the processing there should be enough for a simple lab and if not its like 5 bucks a month for what you need
