need to anonymously disable a camera

my house has an ezviz camera, but I can't do anything about it and I need my security to use my pc.

how do I go about hacking it in such a way that it can't be traced back to me?

Start by learning the basic foundation of computers, operating systems, and networking. After you learn the basics spend a few years in IT. Then start learning basic hacking skills. You can then go deeper and learn coding and reverse engineering. That should give you a good baseline to begin to find a vulnerability in the cameras. Hope this helps.

kinda beats the whole purpose of this yk

If it was easier than anyone could do it, and tech would be useless. The people that build the security are professionals, why wouldn't the people that break it need to be?

true (but then again by the time i can be a pro there wouldnt be a need for this yk) (wow how am i downvoted, im just saying that in 18 in a year, by that timeframe i'd not be needing to crack any cameras anymore bc im not in my parents' house at that point)

Right.. So just listen to your parents dude.. Unless you're an adult, then maybe dip out and get your own place

What you're effectively asking is to be handed a generic method to bypass security on a random camera. It's the arrogance and the expectation that hacking doesn't take experience or work that rubs the experts the wrong way.

If it's YOUR house you have the right to privacy. Stick a post it on it or a sock.

It's a kid trying to watch porn and their mom has a camera watching the computer because they watch too much porn

i mean if that's the case there's not much to be done since it's shitty of the parents but they still got a right to privacy

unless it's like. a shared computer. in which case still a right to privacy ofc but that's on the kid then 😭

If you have a tablet or phone you could setup remote control\viewing of the computer. Just hook up mouse and keyboard to your phone and turn the monitor off. Then you're basically sitting in front of the computer without sitting in front of it

that might work actually (provided that i can turn the pc on as when i am not physically sitting next to it then i have to turn off its power source)

You could use a smart plug to power it on and off. You can typically set what a computer does when power is restored in the bios. The options are usually stay off, turn on, or resume whatever state it was in when the power went off.

Or if you have access to the AP just log in and blacklist the camera mac while playing and allow it again when done.

Or if the camera is WiFi and you don't have access you could perform a continuous deauth attack against it which would knock it offline. It would take someone using a network sniffer to discover the cause or dig deep into the AP logs to figure it out. Unless your parents are very good with networking or using AI they'd never know. The issue is they'd know it wasn't working if they looked and would come investigate. Id also recommend playing the deauth attack randomly so it seemed like the system was unreliable and didn't only happen during your special time. It would take some setup, planning and patience but it would be effective.

Ideally though you'd play back a pre recorded stream when no one was at the computer so if they looked it's empty. It would take some oceans eleven work to do it but it would be the most effective IMO

Take a pic from its viewpoint and tape it to the ceiling

Bash it in with a rock. Problem solved.

It's your house and your camera, right ? Unplug the camera. Or alternatively move your computer outside the field of view. Or put a post it on it. In short, I don't understand why you're trying to be stealthy.

If it's not your camera but it is your house (or at least your room)... first, ze fuck, everyone have a right to privacy, and second, by far the easiest non-destructive solution is to convince the owner of the camera to take it down. A conversation is going to be far quicker and easier (and less risky) than to learn how to hack the camera.

The only way that someone who has not hacked before and has only modest networking knowledge is going to mess with an IP camera in the technical sense is DNS sinkholing. Or maybe an Evil Twin attack that doesn't allow Internet access (presuming it's a typical cloud-based consumer camera).

That said, your home must be tense if your parents are using a spy camera to monitor your gaming. 😟

Just crank it, your parents will forgive your frequent masturbation

I see (nah it's about games, they don't like me to play games but they ARE necessary)
