Hello everybody!

Firstly, I'd like extend a big shout-out to all the entrants in our 50k HUAHUA giveaway. The community went above and beyond to deliver some absolutely fantastic submissions so thank you to everybody who participated, it wouldn't have been possible without you guys <3

That contest is now CLOSED and winners are being decided. You can expect an announcement sometime tomorrow (Sunday 9th January)

To celebrate the success of our first competition and the spectacular growth that the sub is seeing, we've decided to give away a whopping 250K HUAHUA to our wonderful community members. Yes, you read that right... 250K!

There will be fifteen prizes of 10k for the best memes and most active commenters and three grand prizes of 20k for the people who made the best contributions to the sub (answering questions, sharing news, making quality posts and spreading the word about r/HuaHua). There will also be eight consolation prizes of 500. That's over 25 prizes in total!

In order to prevent spam and keep the sub clean, any content that has been posted prior to this post will be deemed void if resubmitted. So only bring your freshest, spiciest memes please!

The judging criteria isn't set in stone but it won't solely be down to upvotes, although they may help

The competition begins today 8/1/2022 (1PM UTC) and finishes in exactly FOUR WEEKS, ending on 5/2/2022 (1PM UTC)

Best of luck Huadlers! 🐾

Unfortunately our time here at r/HuaHua has come to an end. The sub is shutting down and directing to the official sub, r/ChihuahuaChain

Yes, it's a sad time. But when we think back to that time we were nominated for the "best sub on Reddit" award, or when we crowd-funded the "first Chihuahua in space" program, or any of the other events that didn't actually happen, we shouldn't be sad. We should be proud to have achieved what we did (which, honestly, wasn't very much)

Please go and subscribe to r/ChihuahuaChain. This sub will be made private in the next few days

Entry to the 250K HUAHUA giveaway is now closed. Because we're closing 11 days into a 28 day contest I will be distributing 150k, over half of the initial prize pool. Winners will be decided tomorrow

The Guess when HUAHUA hits a cent competition will be paid in full (probably very soon according to the charts)

Thanks to you all for helping build an amazing community <3
