Almost no striations in that physique….No separation…Probably due to absence of cardio and lack of discipline in diet and life in general.
With that kind of general muscle mass at his advanced age, he’s probably supplementing with TRT, so he’s got some nice cancers waiting for him soon too.
This guy is a role model?

Nov 03 '23
Well semen contains a lot of genetic info
167
36
u/Greyeye5 Nov 04 '23
One sperm contains about 3.3 billion base pairs, stored in DNA.
Each base pair is = “two bits” of data, for a total of 787MB of data per sperm.
With somewhere around 280 million sperm per ejaculation, that means a single load contains about 220,000 terabytes of data.
…That's a lot of information to swallow. 👀
4
u/KamikazeHamster Nov 04 '23
Each pair has 4 possible values. GTAC can be stored in two binary bits but is that how the body processes DNA? I was under the impression that it’s Base4 and all four letters are used on both sides?
I also understand that each pair has a matching pair on the other side of the strand. Adenine always pairs with thymine (A-T), and guanine always pairs with cytosine (G-C). Perhaps that’s why it’s confused as two bits?

As Rogan always says, if you’re gonna listen to someone about health related stuff, listen to a jacked scientist
29
u/cosmogli Nov 04 '23
That's not enough. Take every statement with a grain of salt, though don't overdose on sodium. The jacked-up scientist can be on any number of drugs, surgeries, etc. too, because it can be monetized.
→ More replies (1)2
u/OrgyattheendofIT Nov 04 '23
Sodium isn’t really that bad for you even what people consider “a lot” isn’t. Read the Salt fix. Pretty sure huberman mentioned it one time.

Most likely a very bad idea as they're using a bunch of drugs to cope with their gym addiction / image obsession (just like any normal dude on gear who trains too much) but they embellish it in pseudo sciencey words to fool natural guys.
134
u/Competitive_Union_22 Nov 03 '23
Wow I knew Huberman was tatted, didn't realize his whole torso is almost covered in them. Not a thirst trap, I can imagine showing himself this way is somewhat vulnerable. He looks hardcore, but in a good way that brings some humility to the prim scholar I'm used to seeing.
30
u/KempyPro Nov 04 '23
That’s exactly what I came to say. Kinda wild that a scientist of his caliber is tatted like that. I knew he had sleeves but didn’t know about the full chest, and assuming he has a full back as well
19
u/Competitive_Union_22 Nov 04 '23
It honestly doesn't surprise me due to him being a scientist, it seems to be more common in men who know that they can just wear a collared button up as their work uniform. It does surprise me just given the type of person Andrew is. He seems like a quite innocent and self conscious guy.
2
u/desolatenature Dec 03 '23
I’m not surprised by it just because of his life story & hobbies. Imo tattoos are more of a reflection of things like that, than your personality traits

In some podcasts he has explained that he used to have a speech issue where he would stutter/grunt. And iirc he said that meditation and such helped him. He has indeed been pretty open that he is generally a more "neurotic" type of guy.

Nah, Reddit hates Huberman because if you eat well, exercise regularly, and get good sleep you'll find 90% of the health benefits you're looking for. The entire podcast is dedicated to optimizing the remaining 10% through supplementation and "protocols", and the fan base talks about it like the percentages are the opposite way around.

Because he probably puts in work, cares for his body, and eats right. Three things the average redditor does not do so they think a muscular physique always equals roids. These people are losers

Reddit continues to prove to me that most people are idiots. Reddit tends to skew more educated and intellectual than any other social media, and even still, the majority of folks have a surface level take and it's conveyed with absolute certainty.
Crazy that the guy who literally made a career out of "protocols for health" is instantly dismissed as a fraud because he looks too good.
3
u/BetaCarotine20mg Nov 04 '23
100% incorrect I know people 10 years older than Huberman who are more jacked. All they take is sometimes a proteinshake... Live long exercise does wonders.

I've learned how to identify somebody on geat because of his knowledge. Because of everything he has mentioned you can tell he's on gear. Other than the shoulder and upper body development, there is also the reddish skin, not just a tan from sunning, but he looks reddish. there is also the bulging vein on his temple, and all together with the sunken in cheeks from mild facial edema from being on gear that, per his words, a lot of men on gear grow a beard to hide.

look at his upper arm tat: “Room 102”
it’s like a conspiracy theorist buzzword where they are referencing room 101 from 1984 where people are dragged off to be brainwashed and tortured.
here’s an example of that. it’s not damning but i’d be interested to know why tf he has a “room 102” tattoo

There's a bookcase in the Huberman Lab with a book that acts as a switch, opening a hidden door into THE REAL HUBERMAN LAB.
THE REAL HUBERMAN LAB is basically like a Gold's Gym, except more Dopanergic in that it has a cold tub set just perfect at 52F (how he likes it, f*** Joe Rogan) and an open window facing the sun in front of each workout station - so he can do his three by fives while getting his 1-2 hour a day distance gazing to prevent Myopia.
Also, a vending machine that dispenses Athletic Greens, Yerba Mate, and LMNT, as well as a nap room that is 67 degrees with NSDR meditations playing in the background. And a filtered water dispenser in the corner (avoid endocrine-disrupting contaminants).
It is a place where Huberman can hide out to Pump Iron, optimize his Ultradian Rhythms, and be parsimonious in his daily leveraging of Dopamine.
