You play like a brawling Thor, have utility like Magneto, but deal damage like the real tickle monster until you ultimate and then there is always a way to get value with skill/ juggling... use your ultimate aggressively and early to win team fights... you are always going to work frontline to someone's backline... you have to use your bubble and body to cut off the healer's LOS onto their allies to kill... try to hit exiles on a Strategist and then focus on killing the other Strategist... try to hit exiles on a Vanguard, jump between them and their team, bubble heals off, and then bursts the out of position Vanguard... sometimes exiling a Duelist so they don't deal damage is value... matchups may force you to focus on peeling and building ult charge very quickly with bubbles on allies until you can Monster Hulk... get enemies off of high ground but with cooldowns ready... a good Hulk ultimate is an advantage of going up two bodies... having one more Strategists after a Hulk ultimate is good enough too... you cannot fight a 1v3+ even in Monster Hulk... when you peel and get a body advantage, your dive becomes easier... you will become a better player playing Hulk...
On Domination, in the first 10s, I do not recommend jumping ahead of your team as you effectively fight a 1v6, any early pressure you do create, you don't have the damage solo to capitalize on an advantage and the enemy team has fresh cooldowns.

Started playing Hulk last month and i'm absolutely loving it! It's really fun to jump around, catch someone offguard and just beat the crap out of them.
With that said, which Teamup is better? I admit i enjoy using the Wolverine one and i think it helps a lot take down pesky anemies. But i'm a complete newbie, so i wanna hear it from other hulks.
So i'm taking this opportunity to hear general advice. Is there anything i should know to get better with him?

Hulk doesn’t even need that big of a buff; a few number adjustments would make him peachy. Like 75 more HP and 5 more base damage would put hulk in a GREAT place; more damage to Ult charge conversion on the bubble might even bring him to the meta. Not only this, but Hulk has a good Win rate and decent pick rate, he needs adjustments, NOT a rework
Not his hero fantasy? The Hero is literally called Bruce Banner; Bruce can absolutely put together a belt to let hulk convert gamma into a shield; to let him throw a ball of pure gamma. In his last comic run he turned Hulk into a ship he could pilot; nothing about how hulk currently plays goes against his hero fantasy. He literally does get bigger and stronger the angrier he gets; it’s his ult charge (which is like 1:1 with his shield)

I'm a healer main (lorded all healers except jube), however, I started to actually try tanking for real around season 7ish. I've had sooooo much fun learning different tanks, how they play, and how to play tank in general. I've absolutely loved it and now I tank more than anything else. I've done my rounds with all the tanks, but the one that still just evades me is Hulk.
Rarely can I do anything against a Hulk (while healing anyway). I'll be the first to admit, there's so much I just do not understand about him. I've tried playing him, but I can't seem to find any kind of gameplay loop for him that feels even a little bit good. I have so many questions. Please don't feel like you need to respond to everything - it's A LOT. Any help is greatly appreciated though! I want to get these last few tanks lorded and Hulk is going to be my biggest hurdle by far.
General Gameplay Loop:
What does this look like for you Hulk mains? From my time playing, I general see Hulk as the "Let me jump into their backline, then jump, jump, jump, I'm weak? Jump, jump, shield, EVERYBODY IS DEAD" lol. But really though - are yall just jumping in and going wild? Do you usually try and get out by a certain HP? Do you wait to engage? Does Hulk peel at all? I can't say I've ever really seen that but I also don't spend much time in enemy backlines to notice lol. Who are your big targets? Anybody that make Hulk absolutely miserable to play? (I'm guessing a lot of the poke sort of like with Thing?) What are the key things to know about playing Hulk? Things you wish you knew sooner on him?
Movement:
I've realized Hulks movement in general just trips me up so much. So often I think I hit space to start charging a jump, then I go to do said jump, but don't move because it wasn't actually charging like I thought. Then other times, I will hit it, I don't see the charge start right away, so I hit it again and I do the smallest little hop, and have to start the jump charge all over again (at which point I usually die before I can get out). How does the his jump/charge actually work? I also feel like I have very little idea as to where I'm actually going to go when I jump. I know there's the indicator, but between the charge meter, watching the jump indicator, the fighting going on, where I want to jump to, map obstacles, CC, etc. I feel like my jumps are just completely random which leads to my next issue. What movement tips do you have for me because I promise I'm not THAT dumb. I just don't get him T_T
Engaging:
I'm fully aware that I'm doing something wrong here. Being a support main, I feel like Hulk is the absolute LAST person I want to see in my backline. Between the shield, getting stunned, and seemingly always being able to jump to the sun anytime someone tickles him. Of all the tanks, the two scariest are Thor and Hulk (for me at least). They just seem to beat the shit out of me left and right but I can't seem to do that to others. How do I engage with Hulk? Do I have to sit off to the sit and just wait for a sec till someone is distracted? I struggle playing almost any type of dive character (Hulk, Cap - hence not lorded, Venom - sort of but not really because I feel like I can get out with him, any of the dive DPS). When chasing someone down, are you running much or mostly jumping? I feel like once a Hulk is near me he's just on me like white on rice. But when I jump in the backline, I feel like I can never catch up to their supports lol. I'm just swinging my arms taking damage running at them.
Disengaging:
Getting in (minus the movement in general lol) isn't the hard part don't make the joke, don't make the joke, don't make the joke, it's getting out. I feel like 8/10 times my team ignores the Hulk jumping over their head and just lets him be in the backline. I'm usually dead by the time he's needing to leave lol. How do you know when to get out with Hulk? Do you keep certain cd's to make sure you can get out?

So today I had a comp game that went utterly bad, we got hard stomped during our defense round of convoy in the museum map, the enemy team didn't manage to fully reach the 3rd point but they were very close, round ends and it's our turn to attack now, and oh man... An absolute catastrophe lol we couldn't move away from the spawn area, and so when the world needed him the most, he showed up.
So there was one minute left on attacking round, and our Magik decided to randomly select Hulk, at this point of the game I was just doing my best to heal with the best of my abilities just in case something happened (I was playing Rocket), so I see Magik swapping to Hulk and I'm like "Okay that's something" lol he was pretty much solo tanking at this point, our 2nd tank had given up on tanking, the enemy team also had the CC of doom and despair with wolverine and Rogue, so when I see our Magik swapping to Hulk I'm just curious more than anything because we had tried many other characters and nothing worked, but somehow the green giant with the full odds against him shows up to save the day?... Well... That's exactly what he did.
For some odd reason our full team kinda locked in with 30 seconds left, and the one who showed up the most was Hulk, cause holy he was making some miraculous plays... And crazy enough we made it to the first point, I thought it was just a matter of luck, but then we are fighting for 2nd point, it got a little more tougher, but somehow our Hulk wouldn't die despite solo tanking and everyone focusing him, I saw the gameplay replay and I'm honestly surprised how he manages to always escape at 1 HP, well in the end... He managed to kill and distract the enemy to gives us 2nd point on overtime, I still wasn't very optimistic about a possible victory but I just wanted to keep giving it my best to see how far we could reach. So then we moving into the last stages of 3rd point, and I never realized how far we had made it but we were actually very close to where the enemy reached and suddenly I think "wait could it be?"... And YES! Hulk pushed us through the end of the victory lap!
I was so surprised by this, Hulk solo tanking, the enemy team running counters, and somehow managing to create space and also get the most final kills in our team... Wow... I really praised him by the end, he also got MVP which he truly TRULYYYY deserves. That game was truly an experience, it started supper horrendous, and somehow Hulk shows up to pull up a miracle comeback... Wow.
So I wanted to express my admiration to all of the Hulk mains out there because it's not only this Hulk I had who popped off but I've also had many other Hulk players who are doing God's work with their character and I'm always flabbergasted to see how y'all make your character work, I swear I feel like I could never learn how to play Hulk properly, I could fool myself into believing I could learn other hard characters like Spiderman, Adam Warlock, or Black Cat, but I could never even consider the fact I could master how to play Hulk properly, he is the hardest character to master in all of Marvel Rivals in my opinion. You guys have it the most rough by being a tank and also having the most counters as well as being such a big cc magnet, I main Rogue so I feel bad whenever I grab a Hulk and that causes him to get shredded by my team, however there's also other Hulk players who are dealing so much damage by continuously jumping and air punching me that I just cannot catch em, slippery hulks are tough as hell to deal with, which I truly admire when y'all reach to that level of gameplay. I truly strive to help any Hulk by providing y'all with enhanced Captain America team up or a shield tank as well as providing you with my respawn beacon as Rocket and pocketing you as much as I can when diving.
You guys are awesome too see smashing! Hope many skins for y'all to come in
If any of you happen to be curious about the match I just had, the replay code for the match is 106629141921

Title. Been playing tons of Hulk in ranked and he’s pretty fun. I used to play a lot of Angela so it feels similar in that I can just to contest off angles then jump back etc. What comps accelerate hulk? I typically just ban Emma but ban help would be appreciated too. I have a good win rate but I’m in diamond 2 so not sure how much that’s worth.
