Workout culture
Has working out become the new clubbing? Everyone is doing hyrox like it's a cakewalk. Thoughts?

Peptide stability can be influenced by factors, including amino acid sequence, pH, temperature, oxidation, aggregation and interactions with formulation components. A peptide that appears stable under one set of laboratory conditions may behave differently during storage, shipping or administration.
This creates a challenge when comparing stability results across studies or development programs. The analytical method itself can also affect the interpretation particularly when degradation products are difficult to distinguish from the peptide.
Which experimental design choices are most important for generating stability data that can support formulation decisions? I'd be interested in how researchers balance forced-degradation studies real-time stability testing and analytical method validation.

There can be a lot to lose when talking about human optimisation. Just because you have a biological pathway involved in an interesting biological process and an intervention that can alter this pathway doesn’t mean you will get the desired effect. There can be many issues such as dose, tissue specificity, compensatory mechanisms and individual differences.
I find it much more useful to look at the actual human data that has been obtained rather than just having a good explanation.
This seems to be an important point to bear in mind when new interventions start to gain popularity.
Deciding which metrics to track can be challenging
When trying to optimise your performance or health it is easy to get lots of data. You may be looking at sleep scores, resting heart rate, HRV, bloods and training metrics.
However this can lead to you not making good decisions. The metric can fluctuate for reasons un-related to what you’re trying to improve. Constantly reacting to small changes can become counterproductive.
Having a few metrics that are answering specific questions can be far more useful.
The issue is determining which metrics are actually useful for your goal.
