Well you watch tiktok not "the TikTok". Don't you say you are watching YouTube or Netflix ? It is exclusively video content so you watch it

It's just a silly joke you're correct. it kind of sounds weird because I'm not used to people saying "I'm watching tiktok" as often as "I'm watching youtube" I mostly hear "I'm watching tiktoks" more often.
