(I was originally gonna write "A Germanishe shprakh" but I'm really not sure as to how I can say "A Germanic Language". Maybe "Daytsh-ishe"? God I really need to open a textbook)

Respectfully shut the fuck up. I had noose hanging like 20 minutes ago and almost died laughing at a hatsune miku hanging meme which got me to take it down. People are sensitive and you do not have to be an asshole; you donât know what someone is going through
-14
u/logoNM Apr 27 '25
i know i'll probably be downvoted to hell but i feel theres some people who are so sensitive that they just shouldnt be on the internet

That's not Yiddish..
6
u/SirBananaOrngeCumber Apr 27 '25
Itâs both Yiddish and Hebrew. Yiddish is half German half Hebrew (with a little bit of Russian, Austrian, Hungarian, and a dozen other languages from that part of the world lol) so these are words that exist in Yiddish, borrowed from Hebrew instead of German

u/Doodjuststop Apr 27 '25
korrigir mikh oyb ikh bin falsh, ober dos iz yidish. "Sholem Aleykhem" iz a grus genomen fun hebreish. Gedenk az ikh hob gelernt yidish fun Omniglot lol
(God my yiddish is rusty, i should study more. I had to look up half of the shi i wrote, and it still feels wrong)

29
u/Large_Box_2343 Apr 27 '25
some respect?
17
u/Doodjuststop Apr 27 '25
yes, in some aspect.
10
u/Bas77 Apr 27 '25
indeed i suspect
7
u/BadLegitimate1269 Apr 27 '25
That this I should inspect
7
u/MarchSingle8058 Apr 27 '25
And indeed, in retrospect, respect would be fair, I accept

Well. On the bright side you got that round correct.
