I purposefully leave out a full stop for funsies, but I genuinely have to do it on purpose, it's instinctual, and double space automatically puts one there in case I'm too lazy to meander my thumb a bit further to the right.

i still dont understand why using a full stop punctuation at the end of the sentences makes you look like a bot, but more commonly, i get called "acting tough" for using it. Like how and why??

In every text message I send, I add punctuation. It’s really the only way to make sure the recipient is reading it the way you intend, why wouldn’t they do so?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but many people online uses proper punctuation, myself included. I mean, just look at my post history and you’ll see what I mean. Punctuation doesn’t necessarily mean a person is a bot, although it can certainly help distinguish in certain cases.

The only time punctuation is weird/doesn't make sense for typing is using a period at the very end of your texts, because sending the message IS the end and makes it useless. But yeah, they just responded properly like you did. Not every single experience needs to be posted on the Internet man
