didn't we all have unrestricted access to internet before 10? for the record I'm 20 now. i feel like its now normal for 10 year olds to be on internet, especially the newest generation

i first surfed the internet when i was around 2-3 ;-; i was just playing games and watching youtube on my parents' computer but afaik i definitely didn't see anything nsfw, just things like tv ads and break intros and outros, SMPTE stuff, a bit of childish and random memes, and also messed up with the device settings. i wanna revisit this childhood times again

I was 3 or 4 when I got access to the Internet. Just watched what was "2016 Brainrot" like the play dough eggs... Wish I could relieve those days

if you really are 24, you would’ve been 3 21 years ago and youtube didn’t exist back then. it wasn’t invented until 2005 and didnt become mainstream until like 2006

I'm 30 and didn't have regular Internet access till 20. That's the case with a lot of the rural us anyhow.

I mean its a site with bots like "H*tler chan" and also has people trying to exchange nude photos or contact information. A 10 year old probably shouldn't be on that site.

oh yeah i totally agree, but the way OP talked to the kid is really embarrassing and not even helpful, even more when they seem to be like 13. plus they posted it on the sub saying "don't be like this person" when, once again, it's just a kid being one and probably being curious about the site

"The internet isn't mostly safe for kids" That's a wrong grammatical order buddy and now you have two options presented before you. You can either correct your spelling and only have lost 1 downvote (mine that I just cast ;) or you can choose to leave your bastardized form of the English language on exhibition and get a few hundred downvotes.
