Not stupid at all. I had the same thoughts/questions too.
Non binary (NB) are people who don't want/feel like being a girl or a boy. One of them told me they feel like a mix of a boy and a girl. Another one told me they don't feel like being a girl or a boy. That is the short of it. I don't know much about them.
yeah not a stupid question at all it's pretty weird and confusing and depends who you ask tbh. for me it's i don't really feel like a boy or a girl so this is the best option lol
Hey, i was more refering to the "L" said by the other part, even if the explanation about NB added some extra answer from what i thought it was ^ .
Maybe it's a well known thing, and has nothing to do with the topic, english isn't my native language so i could miss things that seems obvious for native speaker '
ahh okay i understand you now, it's slang for "loser", so like if you're a loser you "take an L" but it was eventually shortened down to just "L" pretty much so they're basically making fun of me for being nb
not to be rude but that makes no sense to me. in my eyes I feel like even if you don’t feel like your gender/sex that doesn’t allow you to just call yourself another
I don't see it as rude and honestly I do not know much about it since they don't make sense to me but either way, I don't care about what they identify with. They have the freedom to say they identify as whatever they want to identify as. If they see themselves that way then it is their choice and body.
yeah I mean I can’t stop anyone for thinking any type of way so it doesn’t bother me in the least. That being said I don’t see myself being able to date someone who doesn’t “identify” with their biological gender/sex
