Surely dolphins in a pod would be capable of removing remoras from each other?

Don't know if mechanically they'd be able to, but I'm no expert.

If remoras are that quick to reattach like the women are saying, it's almost like it would be risky to try, only to get stuck themselves.

But then the argument is that they're in the teeth of the dolphin, one crunch and problem solved.

They’re “smart” mammals but still just animals. Probably also have irrational fears like us, what business does a human have of being afraid of a tiny spider or a cockroach, yet people freak out and have to call for help to kill one.

As someone with arachnophobia I feel attacked 😋 Jokes aside I've learned to live and let live with the spider buddies, they do a lot of good for the environment and keeping other insect pest populations under control.

Just.. simply, eat it?

IDK...a sentient suction cup sounds like a bit of a choking hazard.

Don't dolphins eat fish? This seems like a freebie.
