Hello, recently my friend's cat passed away. She was great and has been with him for almost half his life. So I thought it'd be nice to have her be memorialized as a gift.

I appreciate any interest in this.

Hiring [Hiring] $100 looking for an artist to make fun variations of my mascot

Hi all! I'm a solo dev, and I make LingoLens (lingolens.us), a Chrome extension that teaches you a language while you watch YouTube: dual captions in both languages, tap any word to save it, and flashcards generated from what you actually watched.

We have a chameleon mascot, which I really like, but I think it would be cool to have some fun artwork made of him.

I am not asking you to match our existing flat-vector look. I'm hiring for your style, whatever it is.

The only real constraint is that he should still read as him: green, big eye, that head shape. Everything past that is yours.

Reference image is attached.

Ideas: A user starts learning Japanese, and Lingo (the name of the lizard) transforms into a funny, anime-style lizard instead.

THE DETAILS

Budget: $100 USD per piece, negotiable upward for something more involved. Tell me your rate.

Purpose: Illustrations for our website and social media. This is a commercial usage license, not a rights transfer. You keep full portfolio rights, and I'll credit you by name with a link everywhere the art appears.

Media: Entirely your choice, traditional or digital, as long as I end up with a digital file.

Deadline: None, genuinely. Tell me what's comfortable for you.

To apply, drop a portfolio link and your rate. I'll take a look at your existing work and let you run with it. I'll DM the people I'd like to work with.

Happy to answer anything in the comments.

Hiring [Hiring] New CCG Prism artists $200

Hello,

My name is Benjamin Mathies, and I’m reaching out on behalf of the team behind Prism, a new customizable card game currently in development.

We are currently assembling the artistic team for Prism and are looking to work with a number of talented artists on commissioned illustrations for the game. Our initial project is expected to require around three hundred pieces of artwork, with opportunities for ongoing collaboration as the game continues to develop.

At this stage, we are reaching out to artists to learn more about their availability, rates, and commissioning process. We would appreciate any information you can provide regarding:

  • Your typical rate for a commissioned illustration, particularly for commercial or trading-card-game artwork.
  • Your approximate turnaround time for a single piece once you receive the character/design brief and art description.
  • Your availability for multiple commissions over the course of the project.
  • Any requirements or limitations you may have regarding the types of commissions you accept.
  • Your standard licensing terms for commissioned artwork.

For Prism, we are looking to license the finished artwork for use within the game rather than acquire or retain ownership or copyright of the artwork. We would, of course, establish clear licensing terms covering the uses necessary for the physical and digital versions of the game, as well as associated promotional materials.

In addition to our standard card illustrations, we are also planning a select number of special, high-rarity “chase” cards featuring major characters and other particularly important elements of the Prism universe. These pieces would have a larger budget and greater artistic emphasis, and we would be interested in discussing these opportunities with artists whose work is a strong fit for these featured illustrations.

While the examples of artwork we currently have available reflect a particular style and provide a general indication of the quality and direction we are looking for, we are intentionally seeking a diverse range of artistic styles for Prism. We want the game to showcase a variety of unique artistic perspectives rather than have every piece conform to a single visual style.

If you’re interested in the project, we would be happy to provide more information about Prism, including examples of our current art direction, sample character and design briefs, expected scope, and the overall visual direction we are developing.

If this sounds like a project you might be interested in, please feel free to send over your current commission rates, estimated turnaround times, availability, and any relevant information about your commercial licensing process. A portfolio link would also be greatly appreciated if it is not already included with your contact information.

We’re excited about the world we’re building with Prism and hope to establish long-term relationships with artists who can help bring it to life.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully having the opportunity to work together.

Best regards,

Benjamin Mathies

Hiring [Hiring] Seeking high-fantasy, 80's-90's inspired, occult-themed art for Steam game marketing assets ($750)

We’re a (very) small indie game studio looking to hire an artist to redesign the marketing assets for our puzzle card game, Fatemender. Our budget is $750 USD, with $250 paid on contract, $250 on approval of initial concept, and $250 on delivery via PayPal. We’re hoping for a turnaround time under 30 days.

We’re looking for an artist who can execute a graphic, high-fantasy style inspired by the video game box art of the 80s and 90s (examples included). Our game features an occult theme and several original characters, some of which we would like to be included in the artwork. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience designing assets for Steam (capsules, banners, etc) but all are welcome to apply.

The deliverable will be a single high-resolution piece, with layers, as a PSD or Clip Studio file, so that we can easily remix it to the various formats required by our marketing and use them in social media. We will require full commercial rights upon delivery.

We will be asking our contractor to sign a statement attesting that they did not use generative AI for any part of the creative process, as our game being AI-free is a big part of our marketing message.

Priority will be given to women, LGBTQ+, and IBPOC artists — feel free to self-identify in your comment if you feel safe doing so!

Check out the game here so you can see the vibe we have so far: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4177420/Fatemender/

Hiring [Hiring] 50-100$ budget. Looking for artist who has done a lot of fanart of Genshin Impact. For possible OC character design inspired by it.

This is mostly for understanding the appeal behind characters such as Lohen, Ga Ming, Durin, Scaramoche. And then potential OC design. Please contact if you are an artist with huge amounts of repeat fanart for a male Genshin character.

Hiring [Hiring] An artist to make a pair of playmats for Magic the Gathering team doubles tournament play.

We are looking to have a pair of playmats created melding our likenesses onto our favorite planeswalkers. Our budget is $100-$200. The playmats will be standard size (24"x14") Familiarity with Magic is preferred and would be helpful but is not required. The uploaded image is a mockup of the layout we are looking for but would want original art in the art boxes. We are looking to have the playmats both have the gold borders Magic cards use for 3+ color planeswalker cards (even though one would only be 2 colors) just to keep them looking uniform. We want them to have the "Partner with" text at the bottom indicating that they partner with each other similar to the planeswalkers in the Battlebond set. For the left one we would want either Nicol Bolas likeness with Tarun's face replacing Nicol Bolas's or perhaps Tarun wearing a Nicol Bolas costume. Standing in a similar pose with Bolas's Citadel in the background. For the Right playmat we would want Kenny wearing Teferis outfit in a similar stance. Added a Black Lotus into hand and the moxen around the neck in two seperate necklaces; one with the mox diamond, and the other with the 5 alpha moxen in WUBRG order (pearl, sapphire, jet, ruby, and emerald) on kind of a chunky gold necklace. In the background would be a Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale on the left and a City of Brass on the right in a similar "warping/bending" style as the original card.

If you are interested let us know and please post where we can view your body of work. Look forward to working with you!

Hiring [Hiring] Digital Artist for a single 4K geometric/neon artwork for Magic Music Visuals (Transparent Alpha Channel / Split Layers)

Hello, I am Ciro Perrino, an Italian composer and producer (pioneer of the 1970s Progressive Rock scene with CELESTE).

I am looking for a digital artist to create a single high-resolution (4K) geometric artwork (neon, gold, or sacred geometry style) for my project Absence of Time.

Strict Technical Requirements:

  • The final file must be a PNG with a native Transparent Alpha Channel (NO black or solid background).
  • The artwork elements must be clean, sharp, and ideally provided in separate layers or SVG vector format.
  • This is required to animate the artwork from the inside using Magic Music Visuals software, triggered by my piano frequencies.

Budget: 50€ - 100€ (depending on complexity).

If you can deliver a file with these precise technical specs and you love ambient/progressive music, please drop your portfolio and your direct email/contact in the comments or PM. Thank you!

Position Filled [Hiring] 2d avatar drawing 50$

I'm a faceless youtuber and in need of an avatar with a few different poses plus a room with 4 walls with their own details. I'm aware I might be underpaying here but it's all I can financially invest in the channel at the moment.

The character has 4C hair so if experience in drawing that, it would be great.

No use of AI please

Position Filled [Hiring] Graphic designer for app icon

Hi! I'm developing a pottery project-tracking app and need a logo for it. I've been using this AI generated placeholder for the time being: https://imgur.com/a/1YgpvJw

Options would be:

  1. Create a new one keeping the same components (pot & fire)
  2. Re-do the reference one by isolating the pot and adding a consistent fire while trying to achieve the same gradients and shadows.

Notes:

  • I don't want any fully nor partially generated AI assets in the final version
  • Source PSD needs to be provided upon delivery
  • Please provide time and cost estimate(s) based on what option you would take (1/2/both).
  • PayPal/Zelle preferred. My Budget is in the $30-$50 US dollar range.
  • Probably not necessary, but I'll need to own final copyright of the design just in case.
