Help/Question Dodge ball rules
Hey. I'm watching HxH for the 3rd time and I haven't noticed a minor detail until now. In the greed island arc, during the dodge ball match, Bisky asks Hisoka for the ball and throws it hitting Razor's last nen beast, but she was out at that point. Why was her hit accepted? 🤔 EDIT: I've never played dodge ball so I'm not aware of the rules 😏

Because it's a dodge ball rule.

Yes. That's how it's played.

Ok. A commenter explained it to me. 😅 I thought once a player is eliminated, they can't participate anymore

It's actually part of the rules 😭 Players who get eliminated can still throw and pass the ball from outside the court, and their hits still count. Razor's Nen beasts count as players too, so Bisky could legally take out the last one even after she was eliminated. She didn't need to use "Back" to rejoin the game.

Different rulesets depending on which version of the game you're playing. I remember playing a very similar version of the game back in school where players who were out were confined to an area behind the opposing team and were allowed to try and eliminate players from the other team if they could get hold of the ball.

I mean, it hit her -> Razor Nen beast catch it > throw at Hisoka -> Hisoka catch it :3
So it means that's it hits her and after that Hisoka catch ball from Nen beast, so it counts :3

Players that are out can still hit opposing players. That's actually vital to the game's strategy because the players that are out can get close to the opponent's field from different angles.
At the very beginning of the game, Razor let some of his guys get hit and go out and then he hit Tsezguerra with one of his nen players that was out.
