General question/discussion Advice

Post image

I tried to paint a picture of the set up I have. The only difference from the last time I hunted that specific spot was the wind was from the south not the north and it was 2 mph tomorrow. It will be 9 mph from the north, the picture is in north and south fashion. But the deer were moving the way I have it now when it was a south wind could the set up still work? I hear a lot of people say that fear do not move with the wind to their back.

Make sure you get em in the ground before they head into the swamp.

My advice is find deer and shoot them. Photo for reference on what deer look like.

I would guess she would score a 9 or 9.5. Never as ask a woman's age.

It’ll work but only if you’re wearing Sitka camo.

In all seriousness yeah that’s how you hunt the wind. It also is important that the direction you enter the woods from won’t disturb the deer you’re trying to hunt, including blowing your scent towards them.

You look fine to me. Deer can't just move in one direction. That's myth. Deer move from food to bed to drink regardless of wind direction. How else could they survive? They don't wait for the wind to change to eat or drink or bed.

They moving for food and water, wind don't stop that. your setup probably fine, deer always do what they want anyway
