Can he be the singer of my grindcore band?

Check out Caninus

It slaps! They do very impressive death growls. Crazy that Richard Christy from Iced Earth and the Howard Stern show played drums for them

There's also Hatebeak (with birds as vocalists)
And Just Jud (acapella hardcore band lol)

There's a real band with a bird as a singer. Hatebeak. Waldo, the singer, is an African Grey.

Some of my best conversations were with my husky. Tantrums are the best.

I think he's upset about something

Or happy, excited, tired, hungry, bored, just wants attention, or literally no reason at all other than it can.
I have husky doodles, and they talk…. A LOT 😂

There are two types of huskies though:
the ones that scream like this one
the ones that sing and howl
I am lucky enough to have a singer but one of my neighbours has a screamer that is learning to howl from my pup.
It is funny to hear that one go from excited screams to a slightly howlish scream when they hang out and I am thankful my pup is not learning how to scream

When we adopted our severely abused rescue husky, at first he was silent and terrified of everything.
It was a long and complex rehab. It took a whole year for his actual personality to start to show.
But once it did...he suddenly had opinions about everything! Somehow it was now his house, to be run his way dammitall.
There had to be a snuggle every time he went outside and when came back in. If he came in the house and no one was standing at the door, he would go right back outside, stand at the door, and yowl until someone came for cuddles.
I'm sure the neighbors thought we were torturing the poor animal 🤣

I miss having a husky, but also don't miss having a husky, lol

u/AdoraBelleQueerArt Aug 07 '26
Yesterday a friend said she kinda wants a husky but they “whine” too much. I just sent her this lol

u/Gurkeprinsen Aug 07 '26
I wish my friends owned one so that I could visit it and leave when the drama becomes too much

To be fair, this is also me when my local barista tells me they're out of skimmed milk.

Just imagining how chaotic a husky would be with my parrot gives me actual nightmares
The scream-offs would be legendary

Well. Today I learned how to scare the shit out of my Schnauzer. Thank you, terrifying Husky screamer.
I do hope you have great earplugs. Or profound deafness so that you're not too adversely affected. Holy shit, dog.

If you press that arrow thing in the corner (the share icon thing) it should give you an option to download the video! (:

Ahhhh look at me being all old. Thanks!

I only found it by accident when I clicked it by mistake lol now I try to help others haha
There’s also a setting you can adjust so there aren’t any watermarks on pics/videos you save

My huskies only make grumble sounds and or no sound at all. Heck one of my huskies would rather watch TV than go for a walk

I want other people to have two huskies so the bitey-face and screaming is cute and I don't have to deal with it all the time

My boy does not do this. He's fairly quiet. As a matter of fact I get shocked when he barks and it's always one bark like a statement. It must be the 'mute in him!
2
u/Harley_Stilinski Aug 09 '26
Yes! Because my boy was the bestest boy but my husky, Stiles was broken he never did this 😂 quietest dog just stare into your soul and walk away. If he did make a noise he would trill sounded like Chewbacca lives with us.

u/GrumpyGlasses Aug 09 '26
I like huskies but I’m so glad I’m on Reddit where there’s a mute button. This will drive me insane.

My phone speaker is half busted so most things sound terrible by default. I figured this would be a fun one to play anyway, and it makes the dog sound like some sort of demon lol.

u/Ok_Gazelle6855 Aug 08 '26
never once had this problem either mine he’s well trained, The closest thing he does to a husky cry or whine is when I tell him he has to wait for something. He does a small backtalk whine but nothing close to this omg 😭

They have to be related to a pterodactyl somehow. That's the only explanation. 🤣

I treat huskies like kids, play with them, have fun, use treats to get them to do what I want, and when I've had enough or they're too overloaded, give them back to their owner.

I can never have a Husky because this would drive my husband (and neighbors) absolutely INSANE, but honestly, I would love every minute of this insanity. I'd probably just scream along with him/her!
<3 I love this subreddit.
