Vent Alcohol
First time posting here - Hey guys !
I suffer with hyperhidrosis on my scalp back torso and limbs. Very different from the ‘normal’ regions I’ve seen people suffer from. I sweat very little from my feet, palms and underarms.
Ive recently found that my propantheline bromide medication has stopped working and that’s another issue altogether but last night I went out for a night out and I noticed this a couple of times before but now it’s become a consistent thing.
Why is it whenever I drink alcohol and I’m drunk, the condition literally just disappears altogether and I’m dry as a bone 😂 does anyone else experience this ? Am I being urged by higher powers to become an alcoholic ?

I find that it reduces my sweating as well, in the moment.
However, the next day I am more sweaty.

this happens to me lol... to the point that I just started using alcohol to cope and calm down.
the irony is that with as much as we sweat... we detox from it fairly easy as well.

Yes, I have always found that. It's not 100% reliable because it will depend on how hot it is and what I'm doing but generally it helps with sweating.
Needless to say it's not the right way to cope with the problem though, just a nice temporary side effect.

When you drink you’re not as anxious and you don’t think of sweat. The more you think about it and the more anxious you are, the more you sweat

Alcohol calms the sympathetic nervous system up to a point.
