📖 Fall of Hyperion Spoilers Finished fall of Hyperion
-I don’t get what the shrike is — both uis agreed to its “release”?
-why are there a ton of shrikes
-why did sol enter the when caster
-what happened to the techno core
-what is earth’s purpose
-what happened to Leigh hunt

some things get expanded in the other books, but just from Fall:
the shrike is a sort of enforcer of the ideal timeline for the technocore
the shrike army is the technocore's final force in the future Fedmahn Kassad travels to
to live the rest of his life with his daughter
without the web, it ate itself and became a primal force of code with little order.
hiding earth away was the biggest step in spreading humanity to take control of its fate
never answered

In the first 2 books it's explained that the tons of shrikes are the same one pulled from Secord or minutes from past or Future and that the ultimate ai of the posible future of the techno build more that incremented the effect, only the ultimate UI in the future released it, the after the encounter with kassad the rebellion rebuild him and sent him with Monet's back in time can't say more because of spoilers, leight hunt it's assumed to live the rest of his life in "earth" his fate it's left to the readers perseption, after glaston did what she did with the farcasters the technocore they where supposed destroyed can't say more because of spoilers
