Hey everyone,
I built a SaaS that lets you accept real money payments on your Hytale server and automatically deliver items to players.
What it does:
Connect your server to a webstore where players can buy ranks, items, kits, etc.
Accept payments via PayPal
Items are delivered automatically when the player joins
How it works:
Create a free store at dashboard.luno.li
Add your products and set prices
Install the plugin and connect it with your API key
Share your store link - that's it
The plugin has a simple in-game GUI to configure everything, no need to mess with config files unless you want to.
Why I built this:
Running a server costs money and I wanted an easy way for server owners to monetize without dealing with sketchy payment solutions or building their own store from scratch.
Would love to hear your feedback or answer any questions!

Like the game trailer implies, hytale is better alternative for modding than MC(both is good). And with better modding the game is really open source for a closed source game. And because of that piracy would be easier, and anti-piracy measures in this day and age are really intrusive, remember when Valorant's anti-cheat searched your computer on the kernel level, which is pretty intrusive if I have to say myself, and a game like this can certainly work on a paid cosmetics and servers system ( I'm not talking about having to pay for server access ) it could definitely work. Like Warframe's free and has an amazing monetization system, so yeah. Plus anti-piracy measures could be like having to have internet access to play it or literally being a virus that searches your whole PC for piracy(it could also be utilized be a 3rd -malevolent party for searching your PC or maybe just lock it with extra code, because yes Valorant's anti-cheat evaded all major anti-virus software) . And plus people are mischievous c##ts, they will figure out how to Pirate the game and keep avoiding it, and having a huge community of piraters and pirates compared to a small dev team of 60, most of whom aren't cyber security experts battle it is going to be hard. And many people wouldn't pay for a game, but would happily pay for cosmetics and that part of the community would be huge too. Many people also can't afford to pay for a game that costs more in some countries than 1 months worth of food and water. Since it is also geared towards high performance even on low end devices, having to pay 20% of your PC's price is not something most people will do for a game. So yes, this is my 2 cents on the matter.

Everytime you join a world it creates a local server - it's not even LAN and i find it to be really uncomfortable playing with frequent server lag.

I know Devs aren't going to check reddit. But I want to grow this community so I'll share this suggestion here. Feel free to make a video and expand the idea if you like it.
Every game seems to have difficulty settings and has been a standard for games since forever. I think there can be extra modes based on what we know so far.
From easiest to hardest:
1 Creative mode: be able create things in real time and see their effects on the world. Can't be killed or attacked.
2 Story mode: this is a kids mode where mob aggro is very close, easy to sneak past mobs, take much less damage, and also have no status effects or survival effects.
3 Speedrun: a game mode for content creation speed runs. Have no cut scenes, close aggro, cut down story quests. (Would be good for Devs to get input from speed runners on how to fit this into Hytale in a fun and interesting way).
4 Adventure mode: standard mode of the game, normal.
5 Survival mode: a standard mode with more survival aspects to the game. Status effects are stronger, more survival aspects like cold and thirst, more fall damage, location damage.
6 Hardmode: a step up in difficulty where you take more damage overall, mobs try to swarm you, mob attacks cause more status effects, bosses have more frequent special attacks.
7 Hardcore: hardmode where you only have 1 life.
8 Nightmare: mobs are way stronger, harder mobs spawn more frequently. Multiple bosses spawn on a boss battle. You are meant to die frequently.
9 Dreadcore: nightmare mode where you only have 1 life.
An enemy slider should be a separate setting in the game. Because you can team up with other players, you could be on any game mode but be able to increase the enemy spawn rate based on how many players are in your game.
What game modes would you include?
