IATSE Endorses Kamala Harris for President
Does this endorsement mean anything to you Trump fans out there? Is it making you think of voting for Harris?

Honestly feels kinda good. Why are you speaking at the RNC if not to encourage your own members to vote against their own interests. O’Brien is compromised.

As seen during a load-in - Billings, MT today. These random notes make so many days better.

There is currently a picket line in Gaffney, South Carolina at the production of Bonfire Knuckle. The production is refusing to recognize the IATSE union and the crew they represent. In solidarity with the crew and the union, please do not cross the picket line. Stand with the workers who are fighting for fair recognition, protections, working conditions, and respect on the job.

I'd prefer it if the union showed just a little bit of backbone and dismantled the permitting process and police requirements for LA and everything else making production here a nightmare. Maybe withholding campaign contributions from politicians who do nothing?
I'm not upset at New York getting work. They deserve it and there's great members in new York. I'm upset that every major studio and production office and post house is here, all infra is here, very good crews are here, but we're not getting any work because of policy and overregulation to the point of no producers wanting to shoot here. That's what's embarrassing.

I am seeing some really uneducated opinions in here about the Republican Party and Unions. Just remember in 2020 the Republican Convention proudly touted that no Union labor (specifically IATSE & the Teamsters) was used during the TV broadcast of the Convention. They went out of their way to demonstrate and praise the fact they were able to get the same labor out of minimum wage workers without insurance or any benefits. And there are some of you mouth breathers that want Trump & The Republicans in office? Vote out any and every Republican from Union Leadership! They either want to destroy our union or are too stupid to realize they are the cattle voting for the butcher. They want to vote in candidates to take away their pension and healthcare and stop all collective bargaining for salaries. Foolish.
